Methods of manufacturing part with hole having cut threads
A method of manufacturing a threaded hole in a workpiece includes providing the workpiece having a region with a hole. The method also includes cutting a threading for the hole. Furthermore, the method includes, independent of cutting the threading, densifying the region proximate the hole to reduce material porosity in the region.

Minimum quantity lubrication thread tap
A thread tap includes a shaft and teeth. The shaft includes helical passages from the threading end to the base end of the shaft. Each passage opens through an aperture in the threading end. A second tap includes a cap and the shaft includes an axially extending passage. The cap is coupled to the threading end and at least partially defines apertures in fluid communication with the passage and the exterior of the tap. A third tap includes teeth spaced apart by a plurality of linear flutes. The shaft includes a central passage and a plurality of flute passages. Each flute passage extends radially outward from a common location in the central passage to a corresponding one of the flutes. The central passage is closed to a terminal end of the threading end.

SCREW THREAD STRUCTURE FOR PREVENTING BEING PULLED OUT AND TOOL FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention provides a looseness-prevention screw thread structure including a screw thread having a predetermined pitch, a no-load flank which is an inclined surface in a direction in which the screw thread is advanced, and a load flank which is an inclined surface in a direction in which the screw thread is retracted, the no-load flank and the load flank being formed at both sides of the screw thread, in which the no-load flank of the screw thread includes: a first tangential portion which abuts against an arc portion formed at a thread crest of an opposing fastening object; and a second tangential portion which has a preset angle with respect to the first tangential portion and abuts against the arc portion.
BOTTOMING TAP AND CHASER AND METHOD OF USE
A tap and chaser are provided each having a cylindrical tool receiver connected to a threading section by a shaft. The receiver and shaft are of diameters sufficiently small to enter the bore hole and distribute any off axis load onto a number of internal threads of the bore hole to dissipate loading. The threaded section includes a group of longitudinal flutes. Each of the lands of the threaded section includes a novel cutting face, tooth angle and rake angle to advantageously allow for threading deep blind holes.

Tool for chipless production or finishing of a thread, method for producing the tool and method for producing a thread
A tool for the chipless production of a thread in a workpiece comprises at least one shaping region which can be rotated about a tool axis (A) for the chipless production or finishing of the thread. The shaping region comprises a plurality of pressing lobes projecting radially outwardly from the tool axis (A) for producing the thread by pressing the pressing lobes into the workpiece surface. The pressing lobes are successively arranged along a forming curve which substantially spirals around the tool axis (A), and the pitch of the forming curve essentially corresponds to the pitch of the thread to be produced or reworked. The forming curve has a helix angle (a), and a profile of at least one pressing lobe is designed in such a way that a thread produced in an axial section containing the tool axis is at least in sections round-arched or ogival.

CONTROL DEVICE FOR MACHINE TOOL
A control device for a machine tool in which a tool used to machine a workpiece is mounted to a main spindle that is relatively movable with respect to the workpiece. The control device includes: a parameter preparing unit that stores a predetermined parameter regarding a control in advance; an evacuation unit that causes the tool to perform an evacuation operation from the workpiece; and a chip discharging unit that causes the tool to perform a chip discharging operation. The evacuation operation of the tool by the evacuation unit and the chip discharging operation by the chip discharging unit are performable at respective predetermined timings.
