A metal cutting device, including a main body, a plurality of legs pivotally disposed on at least a portion of the main body to suspend the main body over a surface, a handle assembly removably connected to at least a portion of the main body to facilitate gripping thereof, and a torch removably connected within at least a portion of the main body to cut the surface in response to contact with the surface.

MOBILE WELDING CART WITH LIFT, STORAGE, AND POWER OPTIONS
20230120884 · 2023-04-20 ·

A mobile welding cart designed to incorporate and integrate components to lift the welding unit, and to provide power for accessory components and tools, is provided. The cart comprises a base frame, supported by four wheels, connected to a lifting platform by way of a scissor lift mechanism. The lifting platform is operable between an expanded position and a retracted position. A storage compartment is located on the lifting platform and a welder is located on top of the storage compartment. The cart also includes a power box connected directly to the rear of the storage compartment that is designed to receive power from a single extension cord connected to the input power of choice. This power box may provide power to all required components and may be equipped with components to convert the power emanating from a power supply in the power box.

Welding cart with cable management system

A welding cart with a cable management system may include a frame, a shelf adapted to support a welding machine, a plurality of upright members, a plurality of wheels supporting the cart, one or more pairs of holders disposed on one or more sides of the cart, and a removable bar that may be releasably secured to the one or more pairs of holders. The bar may be releasably secured to the holders via a pin-and-hole mechanism and may have a hook adapated to hold welding equipment such as cables. The bar may be releasably secured to a first pair of holders disposed on a side of the cart or a second pair of holders disposed on another side of the cart. This system provides additional, easily accessible storage space for welding tools and accessories while still being compatible with a wide variety of portable welding machines.

Handle for exothermic mold with spring connectors

Disclosed is a handle clamp for an exothermic mold. The clamp includes a pair of legs, each having a plurality of rods that are shaped to fit into engagement holes on sections of the mold. The rods of each leg engage with one section of the mold. Engagement brackets are rotatably disposed on one or more or the rods. The brackets each have a thumb bolt that can be extended toward a mold section connected with the clamp. When engaged with the mold section, the thumb bolt stabilizes the mold section on the handle. A detent mechanism is provided between the bracket and the leg of the handle. The detent mechanism releasably holds the bracket in one of a selected plurality of rotational positions with respect to the rod. By selecting different rotational positions for the brackets, the handle can be configured to engage with different configurations of mold. The thumb bolts that are biased toward the mold section by a spring. The bolts include a key that can be aligned or misaligned with a key slot on the bracket. By aligning the key with the key with the key slot, the bolt can be moved toward or away from the mold section under the biasing force of the spring. By misaligning the key and key slot, the bolt can be locked into engagement with the mold section or else held in a disengaged position.

Welding carts with tool-less securing systems

Welding carts with tool-less securing systems are disclosed. In some examples, a welding cart may be configured to retain and/or transport a welding-type power supply. The cart and power supply may have bracket holes configured to receive bracket ends of a securing bracket. The bracket ends may be received by the bracket holes when a shaft retaining the securing bracket is engaged with a rotational lock of the cart. An actuator connected to the shaft may be configured to rotate the shaft to engage the rotational lock. A resilient member may bias the bracket ends out of the bracket holes when the shaft is disengaged from the rotational lock. A captive fastener attached to the shaft may ensure that the shaft and bracket remain captive to the cart even when the shaft is disengaged from the rotational lock and/or the securing bracket is biased away from the cart.
