SQUEEZE DEVICE
[Problem to be solved] To provide a squeeze device of excellent economic efficiency and excellent workability for electric resistance welded pipe manufacturing having a simple configuration, achieving size reduction and weight reduction easily, and allowing operation in roll changing to be performed simply.
[Solution] The squeeze device includes: a U-shaped fixed stand 10 with an open top; and a slidable roll support plate 60 inserted into the U-shaped fixed stand 10 through the open top of the U-shaped fixed stand 10 and held in the U-shaped fixed stand 10 in a manner allowing taking off of the roll support plate 60. The roll support plate 60 supports right and left side rolls 40 in a pair and an upper roll 50 on an upstream-side main surface in a manner allowing the side rolls 40 and the upper roll 50 to move in screw down directions. The roll support plate 60 has space 61 for passage of the pipe-shaped material formed at a position surrounded by these rolls. The space 61 is a part of a cutout-shaped opening opened toward a lower edge of the roll support plate 60. Each of the right and left side rolls 40 in a pair is a tilted roll with a corresponding roll shaft 42 tilted outwardly toward a higher position.
CLAMPING DEVICE FOR LONGITUDINAL-SEAM-WELDED PIPE ELEMENTS
Provided is a clamping device for temporarily connecting two ends of a large-pipe element with at least two connection devices and a rigid connection rod, with the connection devices being arranged at the ends of the connection rod. The clamping device is used to connect and secure the plate ends of large pipes and large-pipe elements. The clamping device is, unlike the known tack welds or auxiliary connectors (cleats), mobile, reusable, and versatile. It can be mounted quickly and securely on pipe elements of different diameters in order to reduce the load on the tack weld and, in the event of tack weld failure, take the place of it.
WELDING OF CAN BODIES
Apparatus for controlling a welding station used for welding seams extending along cylindrical can bodies, the welding station comprising a pair of welding rolls and a calibration unit for causing a desired cylinder overlap during welding. The calibration unit is adjustable along at least three different adjustment axes. The apparatus comprises: a weld monitor configured to monitor welded seams and provide an electrical signal indicative of weld thickness at a series of predetermined points along the seam length; a controller configured to receive said signal and to generate one or more control signals; and adjustment mechanisms for coupling to the calibration unit, or forming part of the calibration unit. The adjustment mechanisms are configured to receive the signal(s) and to be responsive thereto to adjust the calibration unit relative to one or more of said three adjustment axes, to provide the desired cylinder overlap and/or a desired weld quality.
Piggyback holdback clamp
A clamp is provided for mounting to a cable. The clamp has attachment means for connecting to a pipeline. Further, the clamp has plural clamp segments each with a curved section and tension devices connecting the clamp segments to each other to form a cylindrically shaped attachment area for accommodation of the cable in contact with the curved sections.
Support device for supporting a tube on a tube working machine and tube working machine comprising such a support device
The support device comprises: a pivoting arm arranged to be rotatably supported at a first end thereof by a base of the machine for rotation about a first axis of rotation oriented transversely to a longitudinal axis of the tube; a cylindrical roller mounted at a second end of the pivoting arm opposite to the first end with its axis oriented parallel to the first axis of rotation; a variable-profile support member rotatably mounted at the second end of the pivoting arm for rotation about a second axis of rotation parallel to the first axis of rotation; a first driving system arranged to control the angular position of the pivoting arm about the first axis of rotation; and a second driving system arranged to control the angular position of the support member about the second axis of rotation.
ASSEMBLY AND WELDING UNIT FOR LONGITUDINALLY WELDED PIPES
A longitudinal welded pipe assembly and welding mill contains a trestle, on which a welding bridge configured to move is mounted, such bridge carrying welding equipment with the first welding head designed for welding on the outside of the pipe blank. A pipe blank rotation system and assembly mandrels, each containing a blank pipe longitudinal edge clamping mechanism, are installed in the trestle leg span. The mill is fitted with a cantilever crossbar mounted in the supporting assembly, with the second welding head designed for inside welding, the clamping mechanism made as hydraulic stops. The pipe blank rotation system is a welding trolley configured to move over guides and having rotary rollers designed for positioning a pipe blank in the welding position, and supporting rotary rollers located near the assembly mandrels and configured to diverge crosswise with respect to the guides to enable movement of the welding trolley into the assembly mandrel area and move in reverse up to the stop to the pipe blank surface. Technical result: expansion of the technological capabilities of existing mills by integrating equipment enabling to weld from inside and outside of the pipe blank in various sequence using various technologies and observing the geometrical accuracy of bringing together the blank edges for pipes of various diameter, in particular, for large diameter pipes.

METHOD OF MAKING A WELD CONNECTION FOR A FLUID LINE, METHOD OF DISCONNECTING IT, WELDED FLUID LINE CONNECTION, AND MOUNTING TOOL
A method of making a weld connection for a fluid line, in particular for the transport of liquid hydrogen by: (a) providing a first fastener connected to a first fluid line and a second fastener connected to a second fluid line; (b) positioning the fasteners so that they face each other; (c) providing a sealing element between the first fastener and the first fastener so that it encloses an inner piping provided within the fasteners when they are connected; (d) pressing the first fastener and the second fastener against each other so that the sealing element is pressed between the fasteners and seals the enclosed inner piping; and (e) welding the first fastener to the second fastener, whereby a continuous weld connection is created which completely surrounds the sealing element and the enclosed inner piping.

Pipe repair and the methods for operational fixing and definitive welding thereof
The present invention relates to the repair of pipes, comprising a two-part ring fixed initially by a compression unit which allows the execution of longitudinal welding in order definitively to fix the two-part ring, via apertures, before the compression unit is removed. The two-part ring will be completely welded to the pipe, especially in regions close to connections, but it is necessary for the two-part ring to be fixed initially by the compression unit for the purpose of shaping and definitive geometry of the ring relative to the pipe, normalization of fluid conveyance and in order that it is possible for welding to be planned for the opportune moment.
