A part assembly system is disclosed that includes a first conveyor configured to convey fastening target parts and a second conveyor configured to convey correlated parts to which the fastening target part is to be fastened, including: i) a bolt supplying unit configured in a robot working section between the first and second conveyors and supplying bolts to a predetermined position; and ii) a robot gripper configured in the robot working section, picking up the bolts to distribute the bolts to a fastening position of the fastening target part, and moving the fastening target part to a manual working section of the second conveyor.

An end effector for installing pre-molded seal caps onto fasteners comprises a cap-dispenser assembly and a cap-placement assembly. The cap-placement assembly comprises a main housing and a plunger mechanism, comprising an outer plunger housing and an inner gripper. The inner gripper is rotatable relative to the outer plunger housing between a cap-retaining configuration and a cap-releasing configuration. The plunger mechanism is selectively translatable from an extended position to a retracted position and from the retracted position to the extended position. The main housing is selectively rotatable from a cap-receiving position, in which the plunger mechanism is aligned with the seal-cap-delivery-sleeve central axis, to a cap-installing position, in which the main housing is angularly displaced from the cap-receiving position, and from the cap-installing position to the cap-receiving position.

Various embodiments relate to a rivet element supply unit for providing rivet elements, wherein the rivet element supply unit comprises a rivet element provision unit and a handling unit, wherein the rivet element provision unit for conveying the rivet elements comprises a spiral conveyor having a longitudinal axis and a spiral, which extends around the longitudinal axis, wherein the longitudinal axis is inclined to the direction of gravity, wherein the rivet element provision unit has a pick-up region to which the spiral conveyor supplies rivet elements and from which the handling unit picks up the rivet elements for transporting to a rivet element receptacle.

Material logistics system for coordinating transfer of production material so that production material is available as needed at production stations of a manufacturing facility, in particular a series production facility. Thus, multiple sensors are provided for sensing a production material supply at production stations, as well as a central unit in signal-transmitting connection with the sensors and which, based on output signals transmitted from the sensors, determines logistics data relating to the production material for a particular production station. And also, using logistics data, generates control signals for the transfer of production material and provides them for further data processing units. Furthermore, the central unit uses logistics data to control a driverless transport vehicle, having a transport rack including a transport level, for transporting production material accommodated in containers, for a partially automatic container transfer between a transport rack and a storage rack of a production station.

A positioning-mounting mechanism is arranged on a side of the third feeding device and is configured to assemble the heat sink base with a lamp tube. A lead wire threading device is arranged on a side of the positioning-mounting mechanism and is configured to guide a lead wire of the LED lamp bead to pass through a mounting hole on the heat sink base.

An apparatus is disclosed for applying tags with attached elastic anchor bands onto the tops of objects such as bottles in a high speed packaging application. The apparatus includes an infeed assembly for feeding a web, a conveyor assembly that receives a web and conveys it along a path in an upstream direction, a rotating selector wheel, a placement assembly, a pair of rotating jaw assembles, a vacuum cup of the selector wheel, and stretched elastic bands over the tops of respective bottles being conveyed along a path below the placing assembly. The elastic bands then snap onto the tops of their respective bottles to secure the tags to the bottles.

A tool for repeatedly feeding individual fasteners from a fastener supply includes a receiver, a guide, a flexible, linear thruster, an electric drive, an activator, and a feeder with a dispenser. The guide extends along a curved guide track from the receiver into the feeder and terminates at the dispenser. Along the guide track the guide has a substantially constant opening cross section radially defined by a guide element relative to the guide track to guide the fasteners directly adjacent to one another along the guide track. The thruster extends from the receiver into the guide and has an external cross section adapted to the opening cross section and configured to be moved in a guided manner by the drive in the guide along the guide track. The drive is coupled to the activator and moves the thruster in the direction of the dispenser when the activator is actuated.
Assembly substation for assembling a cartridge for a smoking article and related method
The present disclosure relates to systems, apparatuses, and methods for assembling cartridges for aerosol delivery devices. The cartridges may be assembled by coupling a base of the cartridge to a carriage that is transported via a track. The track transports the carriages between various substations at which one or more parts are added to the base. The carriage may be lifted from the track by a lifter mechanism at each substation in order to perform assembly operations on the base. An inspection system may inspect the cartridges at various stages of completion at or between the various substations.
