MODULAR FIXTURE PLATE ALIGNMENT SYSTEM
A modular fixture plate system includes fixture plates and docking stations for securing the fixture plates to a worksurface. Fixture plates include recessed corners for receiving keystones. A keystone may be used as a docking station in addition to or instead of a corresponding rail system. Fixture plates include magnets for providing a secure attachment to keystones, rails and other fixture plates to allow for rapid loading of parts and plates on any CMM or manufacturing system. Fixture plates are designed to be stacked multiple wide to fill the table and maximize coverage of a work surface. The keystone design allows a user to create L configurations or T configurations of plates from a single docking location.
Static flexible tooling system
A system for supporting workpieces during machining. The system comprises one or more adjustable workpiece support assemblies and a robotic unit. Each workpiece support assembly comprises a pedestal and a rotatable fixture element. The robotic assembly comprises means of mobilizing and immobilizing each support assembly, so that the fixture element may be secured in a particular orientation. The robotic unit moves along a frame, and manipulates and fixes the position of the fixture elements to match the contour of a workpiece. Vacuum forces may be applied through the workpiece support assemblies to secure the workpiece against the fixture elements.
MODULAR JIG SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING REBAR CAGE
A rebar cage assembly system, a modular jig system and method for forming a rebar cage are disclosed. The rebar cage assembly system includes a modular jig for forming a rebar cage. The modular jig includes a fixture base, and a plurality of jig subcomponents. The jig subcomponents each having a jig attachment feature and a rebar retention feature. The rebar retention feature is configured to detachably receive rebar segments. The plurality of jig subcomponents are customizably arrangeable on the fixture base to form a modular jig to cooperatively position rebar segments in the rebar retention features. The rebar cage assembly system further includes a robotic system having a first robot and second robot and a plurality of rebar segments. The first robot is arranged and disposed to independently retrieve and position jig subcomponents and rebar segments. The second robot is arranged and disposed to join rebar segments to form a rebar cage.
WAFER ADAPTORS, INCLUDING SYSTEMS AND METHODS, FOR ADAPTING DIFFERENT SIZED WAFERS
A wafer adaptor ring assembly for adapting an adapted sized wafer for plasma dicing by a plasma etch chamber designed for dicing a designed sized wafer, which is larger than the adapted sized wafer is disclosed. The wafer adaptor ring assembly includes a primary wafer ring designed for plasma dicing the designed sized wafer by the plasma, an adhesive sheet attached to a bottom surface of the primary wafer ring, and an adapted sized wafer disposed on the adhesive sheet between the primary wafer ring and the adapted sized wafer. A system for assembling and disassembling the wafer adaptor ring assembly is also disclosed.
REUSABLE AND ADJUSTABLE UNIVERSAL FIXTURING SYSTEM FOR ASSEMBLY AND CHECK FIXTURES
A locating fixture that includes a base, an adjustable locating member, a plurality of indicia, a restraining member and a lower substructure. The base includes a raised platform having a mounting aperture. The adjustable locating member is disposed within the mounting aperture and includes a part locating feature and a position indicator fixedly attached to the adjustable locating member. The plurality of indicia is located on the raised platform adjacent to the adjustable locating member. The position indicator cooperates with the plurality of indicia to determine a vertical position of the adjustable locating member. The restraining member is cooperatively engaged with the adjustable locating member. The lower substructure is configured to allow for longitudinal and lateral translation of the base. The base is translatably mounted to the lower substructure.
Machine tool for cylindrical workpieces
A complex machine tool for cylindrical workpieces has a bed, a headstock assembly, at least one supporting assembly, and at least one machining assembly. The bed has three tracks being respectively a first track, a second track, a third track arranged in order. Each one of the three tracks defines a respective guiding direction, and the three guiding directions of the three tracks are mutually parallel. The headstock assembly is connected to the bed, and is located near one of two ends of the second track. The at least one supporting assembly is mounted on one of the three tracks and is used for supporting the cylindrical workpiece. The at least one machining assembly is mounted on one of the three tracks, is slidable along the track, and is located on a position at a spaced interval from the at least one supporting assembly.
