MANUFACTURING SYSTEM AND MANUFACTURING LINE FOR MACHINING
A manufacturing system for machining comprises a machine tool and a handling cell. The machine tool is arranged for multi-axis machining and includes a tool holder and a workpiece holder, which are movable relative to each other in at least three axes. The handling cell comprises a first interface to the machine tool, which is laterally coupled to the working space, a second interface for transfer purposes, a handling unit, and at least one buffer storage, wherein the handling unit is arranged for an automated workpiece change. A manufacturing line for machining comprises at least one manufacturing system and a combined transfer and storage device.
MACHINE TOOL, ESPECIALLY FOR ALL-SIDED MACHINING OF TORIC WORKPIECES
A machine tool includes a Z-slider with a main spindle rotating about a spindle axis, a main body on which the Z-slide is arranged, a machining table with a machining plane, a clamping device for clamping a workpiece, and a first drive to rotate the clamping device about an rotational axis. A support member is arranged on a pivot-axis housing on which the machining table is arranged. A second drive pivots the support member and the machining table about a pivot axis. The support member has first and second legs. The machining table is arranged on the first leg such that the support member and the housing form a U-shaped unit and provide an interspace between the second leg and the housing, into which interspace a toric workpiece clamped on the clamping device can project and is rotatable about the axis of rotation by the first drive.
Tool positioning and holding mechanism
A tool positioning and holding mechanism includes a mounting frame, a feed member, a tool support, a positioning member, an elastic member, and a blocking member. The feed member is slidably mounted on the mounting frame. The tool support is fixed on the feed member and defines a receiving hole to receive the tool. The positioning member is pivotally coupled to the tool support and partially received in the tool support. The elastic member is located between the positioning member and the tool support. The blocking member is fixed on the mounting frame and includes a pushing portion configured to resist the positioning member. The feed member can move the positioning member to allow detachment of the positioning member from the pushing portion, and upon detachment of the positioning member, the positioning member is configured to rotate under an elastic force of the elastic member to position the tool.
