MACHINE TOOL AND CONTROL METHOD
A lathe serving as a machine tool includes: a cover that has an opening and defines a machining area for a workpiece; a door for covering the opening; a servomotor that moves the door; a detector that detects a position of an operator standing in front of the opening; and a controller that controls, based on positional information of the operator detected by the detector, the servomotor to move the door to a position associated with the positional information.
Power Tool Operator Protection System and Method
A power tool operator protection system comprises a plurality of wearable position sensors configured to be worn by an operator of a handheld power tool; a power tool position sensor configured to detect the position of a handheld power tool; and processing equipment configured to generate a model of the operator based on the mutual positions of the respective wearable sensors relative to each other, the mutual positions defining the operator's posture; associate each of a plurality of limbs (32a-g) of the operator with a respective protection volume (30a-g); and based on the position and/or motion of the power tool in relation to the protection volume (30a-g) indicating an imminent danger that the working implement enters a protection volume (30a-g), generate a protection signal.
Electric working machine
An electric working machine may include a support rod extending in a front-rear direction; a head unit attached to a front end of the support rod and including a front tool and a motor configured to drive the front tool; and a grip unit attached to a rear end of the support rod. The grip unit may include a grip housing configured to be gripped by an operator; a detection sensor attached to the grip housing and configured to detect an on/off operation for the motor by the operator; and a presence sensor attached to the grip housing and configured to detect a grip by the operator on the grip housing. The support rod may not penetrate through the grip housing. In a rear plan view of the electric working machine, at least one of the detection sensor and the presence sensor at least partially may overlap the support rod.
POWER TOOL SAFETY SYSTEM
A safety system for use with a power tool that is usable by a user, the power tool including a base and a moving component that is movable relative to the base, includes a sensor assembly and a controller. The sensor assembly monitors a predetermined danger zone that is adjacent to the moving component of the power tool. The sensor assembly is configured to generate data relating to the predetermined danger zone. The controller receives the data from the sensor assembly and analyzes the data from the sensor assembly to determine if at least a portion of a hand of the user is present within the predetermined danger zone. The safety system can further include a wearable component including infrared only reflective material that is coupled to the hand of the user. The controller analyzes the data from the sensor assembly to determine if the wearable component is present within the predetermined danger zone.
POWER TOOL HAVING OBJECT DETECTION
A power tool and methods are provided for detecting objects (e.g., flesh or other materials) in the operating path of a power tool's output component (e.g., saw blade or drill bit). An object detection sensor in the power tool generates an output signal indicative of a type of material detected in the operating path of the power tool. A power tool controller receives the object detection sensor output and determines when a material in the operating path of the power tool changes. The controller changes operation of a motor of the power tool (e.g., increasing or decreasing speed or stopping the motor) in response to the detected material change. The object detection sensor may include, for example, an RF sensor, a capacitive sensor, a camera, a conductivity probe, or an ultrasound probe.

SAFETY DEVICE FOR A MACHINE AND OPERATING METHOD
Production and work machines are to be able to be more safely operated. Thereto, they can be equipped with a safety device, which comprises a light curtain, a first and a second reflection device, which are each formed for reflecting light of the light curtain, and a first identification element integrated in the first reflection device as well as a second identification element integrated in the second reflection device. Moreover, the safety device comprises a first sensor device and a second sensor device for reading out the identification elements. A control device provides a start signal for the machine only if the first sensor device reads out the first identification information and the second sensor device reads out the second identification information at the same time.
Cutting device for a metal sheet
The invention discloses a metal cutting machine with anti-cutting hands, which includes a cutting base. The cutting base is provided with a main power cavity, and the main power cavity is provided with a power device. The power device can provide a device for the device. Power. The invention has a simple structure, convenient maintenance, and easy use. The device can automatically adjust the cutting position, and at the same time, it can automatically monitor the living body during the metal cutting process. When the human body enters the danger zone, it can automatically start the built-in The emergency clamping device clamps the blade, so that the blade stops rotating, preventing the blade from cutting the human body and causing injury to the human body, thereby greatly improving the safety during production and preventing accidental injury.
