The invention relates to a processing plant (1) comprising: at least one first working spindle (2); a tool magazine (6) for storing different processing tools (4), wherein at least one storage plane (10) having several tool receiving spaces (11) arranged next to one another is provided in the tool magazine (6); a tool change device (5) comprising at least one first gripper device (13) for exchanging the processing tool (4) held in the working spindle (2), wherein the gripper device (13) comprises at least one first gripper unit (15) and one second gripper unit (16) which are positioned at a gripper-unit distance (17) from one another.
The gripper units (15, 16) can be displaced between the working spindle (2) and the tool magazine (6).

The present invention discloses a tool device for auxiliary chip breaking and a tool system for auxiliary chip breaking under different lubricating conditions, which solves the problem that long chips affect the surface quality of a workpiece in the prior art and has the beneficial effects of realizing chip breaking and wide scope of application. The solution of the present invention is as follows: the tool device for auxiliary chip breaking includes a cutting mechanism for cutting the workpiece, arranged above the workpiece; a tool magazine mechanism, including a first rotating mechanism and a plurality of tools connected with the first rotating mechanism; and a tool changing mechanism, including a second rotating mechanism and manipulators connected with the second rotating mechanism, and arranged between the tool magazine mechanism and the cutting mechanism.

Machine tool
A machine tool includes a bed, a column, a rotary main spindle, a tool magazine, a tool changer, and a controller. The tool changer includes a body provided on the bed so as to be movable in a direction orthogonal to a movement direction of the column, a changing arm rotatably provided on the body, and a door provided on the body to open or close an opening formed in the body, and configured to partition an area on the column side from an area on the tool magazine side by closing the opening. The controller is configured to move the body in parallel with at least one of an operation of opening the door and an operation of closing the door.
Tool magazine
A tool magazine includes a magazine arm and a gripper plate. The magazine arm has a tool pot to hold a tool. The magazine arm is pivotable around a pivotal axis such that the tool pot pivots around the pivotal axis. The gripper plate has at least one gripper to hold the tool at a holding position on a circular arc track along which the tool moves when the magazine arm pivots. The at least one gripper is open in a tangent direction of the circular arc track at the holding position.

The present disclosure relates to a tool magazine of a machine tool such as a moving column-type machining center, in which a magazine unit is installed on a saddle, a tool accommodated in a gripper part of the magazine unit is loaded or unloaded in a direction perpendicular to a tool axis, and a gripping part of a change arm directly grips a flange portion of the tool at the time of changing the tools by means of a tool changing part movably installed on the saddle and a tool changing part transfer part configured to move the tool changing part independently of a column, thereby reducing tool change time, improving productivity, minimizing a collision or mechanical interference, and improving stability and reliability in the medium-sized or large-sized machine tool having a length in a width direction.

A system is provided for changing and inserting tools into or presenting tools at a machine tool. The system includes at least n rotatable tool magazines for receiving a plurality of tools, where n2, which are arranged in tandem in the direction of a rotational axis. At least one of the n tool magazines can be driven independently of the other tool magazines to perform a rotational movement about the rotational axis. The system further includes a manipulator for removing the tools from the magazine. The tools are held in tool mounts along the circumference of the n tool magazines such that the longitudinal axes of the tools in each case of one of the n tool magazines are located in one plane and project from the circumference of the tool magazine, and the tools can be moved along the circumference of the respective tool magazine.
Tool changing system and method
A method, non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, and tool changing system for changing tools on a machine. The tool changing system includes a tool magazine, a tool transporter, and an automatic tool changer (ATC). The ATC includes a tool holder and a tool changer. The tool magazine is configured to store at least one tool received at the tool loading station. The tool transporter is configured to transport a tool from the tool loading station or the tool magazine to a tool transfer position of the ATC, and to hold the tool at the tool transfer position during an automatic tool change process. The tool holder is configured to hold the tool at the tool transfer position during the automatic tool change process when the tool transporter is not positioned at the tool transfer position. The tool changer is configured to provide the tool at the tool transfer position to a tool change position of a machine during the automatic tool change process.
