Support arrangement for supporting a workpiece
A support arrangement for supporting a workpiece at a processing device during processing of the workpiece. The support arrangement comprises: a fixating means adapted to arrange an abutment surface of the support arrangement in contact with one side of the workpiece when another opposite side of the workpiece abuts one or more fences of the processing device, a locking means adapted to lock the fixating means in a contact position where abutment surface of the support arrangement abuts the one side of the workpiece when another opposite side of the workpiece abuts the one or more fences of the processing device, and a connecting means adapted to connect the support arrangement with the processing device. The support arrangement may be applied e.g. at saw devices for fixating a log to be sawn, in order to achieve a satisfactory result for a sawing process, e.g. planks with a high dimensional accuracy it is important that the workpiece is reliably fixated during the sawing process.

A router power tool including a housing mounted to be moveable with respect to and spaced from a base, said housing including a motor to rotate a shaft which includes, at its free end, a tool holder for a cutting tool, said shaft extending from the housing such that the tool holder is located at or adjacent to the base and said housing is connected to the base by at least one extendable assembly. The power tool is selectively locatable with a guide plate via retaining means. The guide plate includes apertures for the receipt of retaining means to allow the power tool to be engaged therewith and datum tabs to contact with the power tool to ensure the accurate location of the power tool with the guide plate when held in position by the retaining means.

A control device includes a position command generation part, an oscillation command generation part, and a storage part for storing machining operation conditions and servo control conditions. The oscillation command generation part includes an estimation part which estimates an oscillation amplitude and an oscillation frequency of an oscillation command based on a rotation speed of a workpiece and a position command generated by the position command generation part, and a determination part which determines whether or not the estimated oscillation frequency is an optimum value based on the machining operation conditions and the servo control conditions.

A machine tool includes: two Y-axis sliders arranged parallel to each other on the bed for allowing the saddle to move in the first direction; two X-axis sliders arranged parallel to each other on the saddle to move the table; and a controller. The controller, before controlling a first motor to move the saddle, controls a second motor to move the table so that the centroid position of a moving object assembly including the table and a loaded object placed on the table is positioned in a predetermined range including the center position between the two Y-axis sliders.

A support arrangement for supporting a workpiece at a processing device during processing of the workpiece. A control device includes a position command generation part, an oscillation command generation part, and a storage part for storing machining operation conditions and servo control conditions. ANGLE HEAD ATTACHMENT OF A MACHINE TOOL
An angle head attachment of a machine tool may include a main shaft, a bevel gear, a spindle and at least one idle gear module. The main shaft may be rotated with respect to a first direction. The bevel gear may be configured to convert a rotary force of the main shaft into a rotary force rotated with respect to a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The spindle may be rotated with respect to the second direction by the rotary force of the bevel gear. The idle gear module may be interposed between the bevel gear and the spindle to transmit the rotary force of the bevel gear to the spindle. The rotary force of the main shaft may be transmitted to the spindle through the at least one idle gear module so that the angle head attachment may have a slim structure.
