METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREPARING MORTISE CUTS WITH A PANTOGRAPH ROUTER
Guide bearing stop for use in a template-guided system for routers, and more particularly to a device, system, and method, for facilitating efficient, easily repeatable, highly accurate router mortise cuts on workpieces using a pantograph-type router system. The guide bearing stop may be used with a readily adjustable template holder for holding a guide bearing stop to direct the mortise cut in a very exact manner, which is also readily adjustable and easily positioned and centered on the template holder. The guide bearing stop when used in conjunction with the router system allows for the rapid centering and rapid reproduction of varying sizes of exactly-sized and exactly-shaped mortise cuts across a variety of different workpieces.
Clamp support system
A clamp support system including a support rack having a pair of first sides and a pair of second sides that interlockingly engage each other. Slots are defined in each of the first sides and slots in the opposed and parallel first sides are aligned. One or more clamps are supported by the support rack. A bar of each clamp is received in a pair of aligned slots in the first sides. Each clamp includes a first jaw and a second jaw operatively engaged with the bar. A workpiece is positioned so that the first jaw of each clamp contacts a first side of the workpiece and the second jaw of each clamp contacts a second side. The first and second jaws are moved relative to each other to clamp the workpiece therebetween.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ASSEMBLING STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS
Systems and methods for assembling structural components are disclosed wherein a selectively configurable fixture is placed on an assembly surface of an assembly table. An assembly table interface couples about a pin of a pin slot of the assembly table and, by means of linkage assembly, translates movement of the pin to a positioning member. The positioning member, by the translated movement of the pin, abuts an element of structural component and supports the element while a fastener is applied to join multiple elements of the structural component. A selectively configurable fixture may be used in isolation, or in combination with other fixtures.
Woodwork milling fence device with a precision fine-tuning function
The invention discloses a woodwork milling fence device with a precision fine-tuning function, comprising two guide rods, an electric router fence body, fence board, fence positioning fine-tuning mechanism, fence board fine-tuning mechanism, two fence locking handle devices and an eccentric dust outlet; the guide rods are respectively provided with T-shaped bosses, the T-shaped bosses cooperate with first square nuts and first screws to position the two guide rods in parallel on the electric router fence body, and the fence positioning fine-tuning mechanism is arranged between the two guide rods, and adopts a first dovetail guiding structure, to push the electric router fence body forward or backward; the fence board fine-tuning mechanism is fixed on an aluminum fence, to adjust forward or backward movements of the fence board by the second dovetail guiding structure.
Measuring apparatus and support mechanism of columnar work piece
Measuring apparatus includes an upper support supporting a first end of a columnar work piece in an axis direction, a lower support supporting a second end of the work piece in the axis direction, a probe measuring the work piece supported by the upper support and lower support, a rotary table coupled to the lower support and capable of rotating centered in the axis direction, and a post provided to the rotary table and mounting a first position determiner and a second position determiner so as to be switchable, the first and second position determiner determining a position of the work piece with respect to the rotary table. When a first columnar work piece as the work piece is supported by the upper support and lower support, the first position determiner is mounted to the post to determine a position by contacting the first work piece.
Shim Manufacturing Methods and Devices
A method of manufacturing a shim and related systems and equipment. A mechanical tool inserted into a shim space defined between two or more components with the mechanical tool in a first configuration. The mechanical tool is free of measurement electronics. The mechanical tool, while in the shim space, is modified such that the mechanical tool assumes a second configuration to establish a plurality of model points corresponding to a boundary surface of the shim space. The mechanical tool is removed from the shim space while maintaining the mechanical tool in the second configuration. Using a measurement station distinct from the tool, the positions of the model points are electronically measured while the mechanical tool is both disposed outside of the shim space and in the second configuration. Machining instructions are generated based on the measured positions. A shim is fabricated based on the generated machining instructions.
EZ speedy fence mount
The invention allows for alignment perpendicular to a track engaged by a securing nut. An opposing tooth key type aligner has two functions: keeps the second track perpendicular to the first track and allows the securing nut to always be correctly oriented to engage with the track. A bolt clamps the securing nut to the track to lock the position of the invention. A second axis perpendicular to the lower track is created with a second track. A bolt connected to a coupler nut engages with the middle track to create a third axis perpendicular to both previous axes. A washer provides a neutral bearing surface between the coupler nut and second track. An elevation bolt sets the vertical position of the object to be mounted. A bolt can be used to fasten an object to the end of the elevation bolt.
TAPERED TEMPLATE GUIDED SYSTEM FOR A ROUTER
Tapered, stepped, or non-tapered router guide templates, and optionally combined template holder system, each template comprising: a base portion, a top portion, at least one of an exterior surface interconnecting the base portion and the top portion along an outer periphery of the template and an interior surface interconnecting the base portion and the top portion along an inner periphery of the template, wherein optionally one of the exterior surface and the interior surface may be continuously tapered between the base portion and the top portion, or stepped, and wherein the base portion is adapted for removable and adjustable interconnection with the template holder system.
Adjustable story stick
A tool or hinge positioning jig for creating hinge mortises including a hinge jaw having an hinge jaw first portion opposite and substantially parallel to an hinge jaw second portion, and an exterior first surface facing opposite an exterior second surface wherein at least one of the exterior first surface or the exterior second surface is laterally adjustably coupled to the hinge jaw, and wherein the hinge jaw first portion and hinge jaw second portion are capable of being aligned with first and second hinge edges, respectively, and the exterior first surface and exterior second surface are capable of being aligned with first and second workpiece edges, respectively.
