MACHINE TOOL HAVING INDEPENDENT TYPE TOOL POST
A machine tool having a separately replaceable tool post is provided. The machine tool includes supports that are facing each other with an axis line of a main axis in an axial direction therebetween; a rotation tool post detachably connected on one of the supports and rotatable with respect to a first direction perpendicular to the axis line; a fastening member detachably connecting the rotation tool post on the one of the supports, wherein the rotation tool post includes: a rotation unit configured to rotate in the first direction on the one of the supports; an upper fastening unit at an upper portion of the rotation unit, and detachably fastened to the one of the supports; and a lower fastening unit at a lower portion of the rotation unit, and detachably fastened to the one of the supports so that the rotation unit is rotatable.
MACHINING DEVICE
The invention relates to a machining device, in particular for machining workpieces consisting of wood, wood products, plastics or similar, said device comprising a workpiece holder for holding a workpiece during the machining, process, and a guide means for displaceably guiding a tool carriage for holding and driving a tool, the workpiece holder and/or the guide means being displaceable by displacement means in order to produce relative movement in a machining direction between the workpiece and the tool, for the machining of the workpiece. The workpiece carriage is displaceably arranged on one side of the guide means and the workpiece carriage supports two tools on one side of the guide means and in the machining direction of the workpiece, said tools being arranged next to one another.
Horizontal multi-spindle machining center
The present invention relates to a machining center, and more specifically to a horizontal multi-spindle machining center, in which 2-axis (Y- and Z-axis) or 3-axis (X-, Y- and Z-axis) transfer drive units are disposed in the machining center installed to machine workpieces, in which a ram equipped with spindles is moved in the up-down, front-back, and/or left-right directions of the workpieces, in which the spindles are configured to include a plurality of spindles, i.e., 2 to 8 spindles, so that a plurality of workpieces may be machined simultaneously, and in which tool change is simultaneously performed for tools fastened to the plurality of spindles and configured to machine workpieces by using an auto tool changer (ATC), so that tool change speed may be improved and thus manufacturing efficiency may be improved.
Multi-spindle machine tools
The present invention provides certain additional improvements for such mechanical-type multi-axis machine tools. These improvements include: (1) permitting the spindles to be rotated about their respective axes relative to the member independently of one another, (2) providing a low-cost, and yet highly-effective, sensor apparatus for determining the angular position of the member relative to the frame without the use of an expensive encoder or the like, (3) mounting the rotatable member more precisely relative to the frame, and (4) providing a zero-backlash tool slide on the frame for imparting an action to a workpiece.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool for the machining of elongate workpieces includes a workpiece support column having workpiece support components for supporting a first workpiece and second workpiece support components for supporting a second workpiece. The first workpiece support component and the second workpiece support component are arranged for supporting the first workpiece vertically above the second workpiece. The workpiece support column is rotatable around a vertical axis so as to shift the workpieces between the machining station and a station for loading and unloading of workpieces. The workpiece support component include a drive element for applying torque to the workpieces for machining of the workpieces by turning. A motor and chuck assembly and a method of machining workpieces are related.

MULTIPLE SPINDLE MACHINE TOOL
Provided is a multiple spindle machine tool which is capable of sufficiently preventing tool exchange failure due to cutting chips and improving the freedom of machine operation. A left and right magazines are provided in the tool storage chamber as an automatic tool changer corresponding to a left and right spindles. A right and left shutters, each of which is arranged to open and close as the left and right spindles enter and exit between the machining chamber and the tool storage chamber, are provided for each of the spindles.
Cutting apparatus
A cutting apparatus includes a rotatable holding table having a rectangular holding surface, a cutting unit having a cutting blade mounted to a rotatable spindle, and a sensor unit detecting a tip of the cutting blade entering between a light projection section and a light reception section. The sensor unit has an upper end located to be lower than a lower end of the holding table in a Z direction and is located below the axis of the spindle or an extension region of the axis, and when short sides of the rectangular holding surface are set parallel to a Y direction, an upper side of the sensor unit is opened to allow the cutting blade to enter between the light projection section and the light reception section.
