Machine tool
A machine tool capable of reducing the time required to transfer a workpiece includes a spindle chuck provided to a spindle that rotates about an axis, and capable of holding a workpiece to be worked on, a temporary placement chuck capable of holding a workpiece, a tool post driver to move the temporary placement chuck relatively to a facing position in which the spindle-side workpiece holder and the workpiece holder for temporary placement are able to transfer or receive a workpiece to or from each other, and to a separated position in which the spindle-side workpiece holder and the workpiece holder for temporary placement are able to transfer or receive a workpiece individually, and a loader including a spindle-corresponding workpiece holder and a temporary placement-corresponding workpiece holder disposed to face the spindle chuck and the temporary placement chuck in the separated position, respectively.
Method and device for handling tires
A handling device for tires having at least one extension arm, wherein the at least one extension arm is secured with a first extension arm pivot location to a receiving member in such a manner that a pivoting of the at least one extension arm relative to the receiving member is supported and the at least one extension arm has a second extension arm pivot location so that at least one gripping tool is coupled to the at least one extension arm. At least a second gripping tool is coupled to the second extension arm pivot location, and the at least two gripping tools can be pivoted relative to at least one extension arm pivot location. The invention further relates to a method for carrying out a loading and unloading cycle with tires of a tire vulcanization machine.
AUTO LOADING & UNLOADING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DOUBLE SPINDLE CNC MACHINES
The present invention provides an automatic loading and unloading system and method for double spindle CNC machines. The system makes use of cross slide component of the CNC machine itself and its sliding movements to perform loading and unloading a finished job from the machine, and eliminating need of external robots/gantry. The system comprises two sets of twin grippers placed at the two cross slides across the two spindles. Each set of grippers perform pickup, unload, load and ejection of jobs. A transfer arm travels between the two spindles to transfer semi-finished jobs between the spindles, in order to finish the jobs and collect them in an out-feed bin. The present system provides simpler and faster way of loading and unloading jobs automatically.
