Blade sharpening system and method of using the same
The present document describes a blade sharpening system comprising a blade sharpening device, a blade holding apparatus and a controller operatively coupled to the blade sharpening device and said blade holding apparatus to control sharpening of said blade, and methods of using the same.
Rotatable filter system and methodology
Various aspects of an apparatus are disclosed. In a particular aspect, an apparatus comprising a cylindrical filter, a filter cleaning knob, and a filter cleaning flap is disclosed. Within such embodiment, the filter cleaning knob is configured to rotate the cylindrical filter. The filter cleaning flap is coupled to the cylindrical filter and configured to sequentially make contact with a plurality of pleated segments of the cylindrical filter as the filter cleaning knob is rotated.
POWER TOOL
A power tool includes a housing, a motor, a ball sleeve, an oscillating member with a mounting portion, and an output shaft rotating around an output shaft axis. The oscillating member and the ball sleeve are engaged in an engagement region on the oscillating member, and the geometric center of the engagement region is an engagement center. A first plane bisects the first bearing assembly along a direction of the output shaft axis, and a second plane bisects the second bearing assembly along the direction of the output shaft axis. The height from the engagement center to the first plane is a first height H1, the height from the engagement center to the second plane is a second height H2, and the ratio H1/H2 of the first height H1 to the second height H2 is greater than or equal to 0.5 and less than or equal to 1.4.
Tile saw with adjustable fence and methods
A tile saw includes a saw with a cutting blade, a frame supporting the saw, a table supporting a workpiece and being slidable relative to the frame, and a rear fence secured to the table. The rear fence has an engagement surface and is adjustable between an operating position and a bypassed position. The bypassed position includes the engagement surface of the fence being no higher than even with the planar surface of the table to allow a workpiece to extend beyond a rear edge of the table. In the operating position, the engagement surface of the rear fence projects axially from the planar surface of the table to support the workpiece as the workpiece is pushed into the cutting blade during operation. The fence can be adjusted between the operating and bypassed positions by using any one of a cam lever clamp, pin and guideway, or rotatable latch.

WIRE SAW DEVICE, AND PROCESSING METHOD AND PROCESSING DEVICE FOR WORKPIECE
In order to respond flexibly to various processing modes, such as forming curved surface shapes, when cutting a workpiece using a wire saw, this wire saw device (1) is provided with: a single robot arm (2) that is capable of moving freely by means of multi-axis control; a wire saw unit (3) that is detachably connected to the robot arm (2) via a tool changer (7); a wire (8) that spans a plurality of pulleys supported within the wire saw unit (3); and a workpiece cutting zone (20) that is established between the pulleys. The workpiece is cut to a prescribed shape by moving the robot arm (2) in a preset direction while running the wire (8) of the wire saw unit (3) and pressing the wire (8) against the supported workpiece.

Chop saw with dust collection system
A chop saw, grinding wheel, or like apparatus is disclosed herein also incorporated to an easily portable dust collection system. In a preferred embodiment, a worktable is provided with a center slot for receiving a circular saw blade. A negative pressure and resulting air flow is provided at the center slot to capture particulate matter as a byproduct of cutting the workpiece. Side slots are also disclosed to assist in particulate collection. A unique filter chamber having a cylindrical filter is additionally provided to remove dust from air and discharge the filtered air at a lateral side of the apparatus. A filter cleaning knob is additionally disclosed to assist in cleaning the filter. Of the beneficial aspects of the chop saw with dust collection system is its portability being one integral unit and the dust filter being easily cleaned and maintained.
