Ring-shaped band saw blade manufacturing method and manufacturing apparatus
A ring forming step includes welding opposite ends of a band saw blade including a body part having a band shape, and a tooth part including a plurality of teeth formed on one side part of the body part, to form a ring shape. A polishing step includes polishing an inner surface, an outer surface, and an end face on a side opposite to the tooth part in the ring-shaped band saw blade subjected to the ring formation. A tip tooth tip forming step includes positioning, after the polishing step, the ring-shaped band saw blade subjected to the ring formation by use of one of the inner surface and the outer surface, and the end face as references, joining a cutting tip to tooth tips of the plurality of teeth by welding, and polishing the joined cutting tip to form a tooth tip shape.
RING-SHAPED BAND SAW BLADE MANUFACTURING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING APPARATUS
A manufacturing apparatus of a ring-shaped band saw blade for manufacturing the ring-shaped band saw blade including a tooth tip to which a hard cutting tip is joined. The manufacturing apparatus includes a rotatory moving section that provides rotatory movement of the ring-shaped band saw blade including a body part having a band shape and a tooth part including a plurality of teeth formed on one side part of the body part; a surface polishing section that polishes an inner surface and an outer surface of the body part in the ring-shaped band saw blade in the rotatory movement provided by the rotatory moving section; and an end face polishing section that polishes an end face of the body part on a side opposite to the tooth part in the ring-shaped band saw blade in the rotatory movement provided by the rotatory moving section.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A MACHINE
The invention relates to a method for operating a machine, in particular a grinding machine, comprising the steps of: detecting a workpiece to be machined and setting various setting values of the machine, performing machining of the workpiece, detecting a first actual value and a second actual value during or after performance of the machining, wherein the first actual value is assigned a higher prioritization than the second actual value, comparing the first actual value with a first set value range and the second actual value with a second set value range, and changing the setting values of the machine such that the actual values meet the assigned target value range according to the prioritization.
Brushing machine for producing vintage-style lumber, vintage-style lumber, and method for producing vintage-style lumber
[Problem] To address the problem of conventional old wood texture or antique taste boards which lack natural looking worn effects and present an appearance of an artificial treatment applied thereto. [Solution] Unlike a conventional configuration in which the rotary shaft of a roll brush is simply and fixedly arranged parallel to the wood grains of a board to which surface treatment is applied or the painted surface where paint is applied to the wood grains, the rotary shaft may be obliquely set to any angle including a right angle, and may be rotationally driven at high speed at a given inclined angle relative to the horizontal surface of the board along a left to right direction of the roll brush. This makes different “contact strength” of a roll brush such as a metal brush obliquely applied to each right and left end of the board, thereby causing the inclined roll brush to peel off the wood grains or the painted surface where paint is applied to the wood grains with difference strengths for each end of the board. This makes it possible to implement “uzukuri” (brushing process) with different designs presented along a left to right direction of the board.

Conveyor Belt Sanding Assembly
A conveyor belt sanding assembly includes a panel is comprised of a rigid material. A pair of clips is each coupled to the panel and each of the clips releasably engages a paddle of a mail sorting machine thereby mounting the panel to the paddle. A sheet of sand paper is bonded to the panel and the sheet of sand paper is positioned on an opposing surface of the panel with respect to the clips. In this way the sheet of sand paper is directed toward the conveyor belt of the mail sorting machine. The sand paper abrades the conveyor belt when the paddle is moved against the conveyor belt to enhance the capacity of the conveyor belt to frictionally engage mail that is being sorted by the mail sorting machine.
