DRY ICE PARTS FINISHING SYSTEM
Apparatus for treating parts to remove imperfections in the parts includes: a chamber; a rotatable basket within the chamber; a source of liquified cold fluid; a source of dry ice particles; a programmed controller to control rotation of the basket, activation of the liquified cold fluid, cycle times and activation of the dry ice particles. The controller is programmed to activate rotation of the rotatable basket, activate the source of liquified cold fluid and activate the dry ice particles to treat parts in the rotatable basket.
Shot processing apparatus
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a drum-type shot peening device capable of shortening processing time. This shot peening device comprises: a bottomed, cylindrical drum having one end thereof open; and a projector provided on the open side of the drum and which projects projection material on to a workpiece inserted inside the drum. The projector comprises: a cylindrical control gauge having an opening window that is formed in the side wall thereof and serves as a discharge port for the projection material, said opening window having a rectangular shape having two sides thereof parallel to the center axis of the control gauge having the projection material supplied therein; and an impeller comprising a plurality of blades arranged on the outside of the control gauge so as to extend in the radial outside direction of the control gauge, said impeller rotating around the center axis of the control gauge and having a backward-tilting section that is tilted towards the rear side in the blade rotation direction and is provided on the surface on the front side in the rotation direction.

POLISHING DEVICE AND POLISHING METHOD
A polishing method includes: a step of preparing a polishing device including a processing member and a suction mechanism configured to generate suction force; a step of setting a workpiece in the processing member; and a step of accelerating abrasive grains fed toward the workpiece to a predetermined speed with an air flow generated by operation of the suction mechanism, and polishing the workpiece by causing the abrasive grains to contact with or collide with the workpiece.
Rotor polishing device
A rotor polishing device, including a housing with a space therein for holding rotors in need of polishing, an inlet for pumping a polishing lapper into the housing, and a rotational assembly for rotating the rotors during the polishing process. The rotor polishing device is useful for polishing rotors commonly used by rotary screw compression systems.

System for blast-cleaning a barge bottom
A system for blast-cleaning a barge bottom providing for safety and avoidance of damage to the barge and to persons, where a barge is blast-cleaned with a blasting tractor having a transverse track beam along which positioning units move blaster heads. In one embodiment, the blasting tractor is controlled by a person in a cab of the blasting tractor, where the operator can see the blaster heads. In another embodiment, the blasting tractor is robotically controlled from a robotic controller which has access to a three-dimensional plan of the barge, communicating with the robotic blasting tractor via RF antennae, and receiving real-time data from sensors located on each blaster head. Optionally, the system for blast-cleaning a barge can provide blaster-head cameras for real-time remote monitoring of operations and for recording of the operations allowing review of any issue, such as damage, that might arise.
PART PROCESSING AND CLEANING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF SAME
A part processing apparatus and method is disclosed that includes a media-blasting apparatus and a cleaning apparatus. The media-blasting apparatus is configured to blast a stream of media against a surface of a part, and the cleaning apparatus is configured to clean debris or particles from the surface of the part. The cleaning apparatus includes a first spray-and-wash unit, a first ultrasonic wash unit, a second ultrasonic wash unit, and a second spray-and-wash unit, which may be arranged in the listed order. Each of the units may be configured to utilize hot liquid or water to clean the part being processed. The first ultrasonic wash unit is configured to ultrasonically vibrate a liquid in the first ultrasonic wash unit at a first frequency, and the second ultrasonic wash unit is configured to ultrasonically vibrate a liquid in the second ultrasonic wash unit at a second frequency. The first and second frequencies may be different from each other, such that vibration at the second frequency causes additional debris or particles to be removed from the surface of the part that were not, or could not be, removed from exposure to vibration at the first frequency. The apparatus and method may further include a drying and/or inspection unit for the part after being processed in the cleaning apparatus.
