Automatic wet sanding apparatus
In an automatic wet sanding apparatus including a disc and a cushion pad, a disc center hole is formed at a central portion of the disc and a pad center hole is formed at a central portion of the cushion pad. Water having been supplied to an introduction space inside a skirt is stirred as an eccentric head rotates eccentrically and thereby pushed out toward a painted surface via the disc center hole and the pad center hole with enhanced pressure. Thus, sanding dust resulting from automatic wet sanding can be washed away toward an outer circumferential side by the water that is pushed out toward the outer circumferential side, so that the likelihood of clogging due to sanding dust can be reduced and high sanding efficiency can be maintained.
Automatic wet sanding apparatus
An air cylinder that changes the posture of an automatic wet sanding unit main body having sandpaper mounted thereon is provided with a guide rod, and an outer circumferential surface of the guide rod has grooves that extend along a shaft centerline of the guide rod and have an arc-shaped cross-section. Balls are interposed between a bottom of each groove and an inner surface of a bush that is provided inside the air cylinder. Thus, it is possible to make two objects compatible with each other: to achieve high-accuracy automatic wet sanding by enhancing the adaptability of the sandpaper to the shape of a painted surface through a reduction of the diameter of the piston rod; and to enhance the durability of the automatic wet sanding apparatus.
Backing plate for adhesive flap wheels
A backing plate for abrasive flap wheels, in which openings are configures as slots, which are formed in the outer flange and which are radially open on its outer edge.

Automatic wet sanding apparatus
In an automatic wet sanding apparatus including a paper peeling unit that has a clamping shaft and a clamping hook, an inclination angle of a leading end surface of the clamping hook is equal to an inclination angle of an outer circumferential surface of a cushion pad at the start of a paper peeling step. Thus, the leading end surface of the clamping hook comes into contact with an outer circumferential end of a disc at the same time as coming into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the cushion pad, so that the cushion pad is less likely to get caught due to deformation of the outer circumferential surface and its peripheral part of the cushion pad. It is therefore possible to appropriately remove the sandpaper from the cushion pad and stably perform the task of removing the sandpaper.
POLISHING BRUSH
A polishing brush (1) includes a brush-shaped grindstone (12) holding grinding element bundles (11) of wire-shaped grinding elements (27) in an annular shape and a grinding element displacement-restricting member (13) for restricting displacement of the grinding element bundles (11) outward. The brush-shaped grindstone (12) has a grinding element holder (15) holding the base end portions (upper end portions) of the grinding element bundles (11). The grinding element displacement-restricting member (13) has an annular part (33) surrounding the wire-shaped grinding elements (27) from the outer peripheral side at a position between the tip ends of the wire-shaped grinding elements (27) and the grinding element holder (15) in the direction of the axis of center of rotation (L) and at a distance away from the tip ends of the wire-shaped grinding elements (27) and the grinding element holder (15). Since the portions on the side closer to the grinding element holder (15) of the grinding element bundles (11) held in the grinding element holder (15) are exposed outward, cutting fluid or air supplied from the outer peripheral side of the polishing brush (1) easily reaches the polished portion of a workpiece.

Polishing pad assembly
The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for polishing stone and synthetic substrates. The apparatus uses a leather polishing pad to apply a finish to a stone or synthetic substrate. The pad has a specially designed fluid channeling pattern which cools by maintaining a quantity of liquid polishing slurry centrally of the pad for cooling purposes. The grit and amount of the abrasive used with the slurry varies based on the mechanical properties of the substrate.
Elastic Self-lubricating Polishing Tool
An elastic self-lubricating polishing tool includes an elastic grinding layer including an abrasive member and an elastic base layer affixed to the abrasive member, an absorbing layer absorbing and sustainedly releasing liquid inside of the absorbing layer, and an adhesive layer overlappedly connected with the elastic base layer of the elastic grinding layer and the absorbing layer. The elastic self-lubricating polishing tool is elastic and self-lubricating to sand and polish a surface of a workpiece.
