Abrasive Articles with Removable Abrasive Member and Methods of Separating and Replacing Thereof
The present disclosure relates to abrasive articles including an abrasive member having opposing major surfaces, a working surface and an exterior attachment surface, wherein the abrasive member comprises an inorganic material having a Mohs hardness greater than about 7.0; and a magnetic member, having opposing first and second major surfaces and a corresponding magnetic force, wherein the first major surface of the magnetic member faces the exterior attachment surface. The abrasive articles of the present disclosure may include a third member. The third member is attached to the magnetic member by a magnetic force. The abrasive member with attached magnetic member is designed to be easily removed from the third member. Methods of separating an abrasive member from an abrasive article and replacing the abrasive member of an abrasive article are also provided.

ROTARY MACHINE TOOL
A rotatably driven machine tool has a tool holder rotatable about an axis and having at least one drive-side part and a tool-side part, both parts being detachably connected to each other for picking up and holding a rotary tool. A bayonet connection couples the tool-side part and the drive-side part to each other.

Polishing tool holder and polishing device
A polishing device (1) includes a polishing brush (3) and a polishing brush holder (4) that holds the polishing brush (3). The polishing brush holder (4) includes a shank (6), a support mechanism (21) that has a sleeve (7) and supports the polishing brush (3) so as to be movable in an axial direction L of the shank (6), and a moving mechanism (22) that moves the polishing brush (3) in the axial direction L. The polishing brush holder (4) includes a pressure sensor (53) that detects a load (sensor detection pressure (P)) applied from a workpiece (W) to the polishing brush (3) when the workpiece (W) is polished by the polishing brush (3) supported by the support mechanism (21), and a control unit (51) that drives the moving mechanism (22) on the basis of the output (sensor detection pressure (P)) from the pressure sensor (53) to move the polishing brush (3) in the axial direction L.

Backing pad assembly with anti-rotational locking feature for resin fiber discs
An abrasive disc mounting assembly for attaching an abrasive disc to a rotary motor drive. The assembly includes a backing pad with a front face and a rear surface. A tapered recess is formed in the front face and extends into the backing pad, the recess having a flat base at its inward end. A hole is formed in the recess and extends through the backing pad from the base to the rear surface. The hole is centered within the recess. A grinder spindle is sized to fit within the hole. The spindle has threads formed on one end. The assembly also includes a nut with a shape that is complementary to the shape of the recess so that the nut seats within the recess. The recess and nut include anti-rotational features that prevent one from rotating relative to the other as the nut seats within the recess.

Rotary brush and rotary brush wire configurations
A rotary wire brush, such as a wheel brush, e.g., double-stringer or dually brush, cup brush, bevel brush, or knotted end brush, composed of knotted brush wire tufts of multistrand construction each having at least a plurality of brush wire strands, preferably at least a plurality of pairs of, i.e., at least three, strands each formed of at least a plurality, preferably at least a plurality of pairs of, i.e., at least three, wires. The wires forming strands are twisted, braided, or twisted and braided, and the strands that form tufts are twisted, braided, or twisted and braided. A preferred brush employs a center disc, e.g., hub, with radially offset tuft anchor holes, which can have different sizes, from which twist knot tufts, which also can have different sizes, can outwardly extend from the disc different distances by being configured with an offset trim preferably having different trim lengths.
