SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPENSING SOLID AND LIQUID MATERIALS
Applicator devices and methods for dispensing solid and liquid materials therefrom are disclosed. The applicator devices provide for application of a wide variety of liquid and solid materials from a hand-held device in combination with a buffing element. The devices generally include a top portion that forms a housing and a bottom portion that defines a buffing element. The top portion incudes an interior side that defines an inner cavity configured to contain the liquid or solid material and an exterior side having at least a portion configured to be grasped by a user's hand. Attachment between the housing and the buffing element may be releasable so that various interchangeable buffing elements may be used in combination with the liquid or solid material contained in the housing of the device.

Foam Abrasive and Method for Producing Same
A foam abrasive for grinding a workpiece includes a main part made of foam, in particular polyurethane foam, and abrasive grains which are fixed to at least one surface of the foam abrasive via a base binder made of thermoplastic polyurethane. The abrasive grains are covered with a cover binder.
Surface repair tool
A surface repair tool for repairing defects in surfaces includes a handle with an applicator blade extending from one end of the handle and a sanding device extending from the opposite end of the handle. The handle includes a receptacle into which is removably received a container of repair compound. The applicator blade includes an application surface and a flow passage that has an inlet and an orifice formed through the application surface. Squeezing the container causes repair compound in the container to flow through the flow passage of the applicator blade and out of the orifice where it is dispensed onto the applicator surface to be spread on a surface needing repair. Once the repair compound dries, the sanding device is used to sand the repair compound to a desire finish.
Surface-machining appliance with a suction connection
A surface processing device, in particular a manual grinding device, includes a processing body which has at least one processing surface for grinding or polishing a workpiece surface, wherein inlet openings are arranged on the at least one processing surface for suctioning off dust-laden dust air and these inlet openings are flow-connected via a duct arrangement to a suction connection to which a suction device can be connected. The surface processing device is provided with an adjustment means for adjustment of effective flow cross-sections, with which inlet openings of a first processing surface section of the at least one processing surface and inlet openings of at least one second processing surface section of the at least one processing surface are flow-connected to the suction connection, so that a suction effect on the first processing surface section and the at least one second processing surface section can be set and/or switched off.

Prescription bottle label degrader
A simple hand held label degrading device and method employs a molded polymer ring (collar) having a plurality of molded hardened pointed teeth on the internal circumference projecting radially inward for degrading the label of a prescription bottle or the like inserted therein. A longitudinal slot in the collar allows it to be fitted over a bottle such that simple hand squeezing of the collar compresses the collar around the bottle and engages the pointed teeth against the label. Simple hand twisting of the collar around the bottle in a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation cuts through the plastic composite or paper label and shreds the label rendering sensitive information illegible thus protecting personal health information. The bottles can then be thrown away or recycled without fear of medical identity theft.

ADJUSTABLE HANDHELD SANDER
An adjustable sander having a body and a flexible base. The flexible base includes a first end and a second end spaced apart from one another. The first end and second end are each pivotally attached to the body. The flexible base is configured to move between a concave configuration, a neutral configuration, and a convex configuration relative to the body. The adjustable sander further includes a removable sanding surface affixed to a surface of the flexible base that is distal from the body. The adjustable sander also includes a locking mechanism configured to selectively hold the flexible base in a desired concave, neutral or convex configuration. The locking mechanism is characterized in that it includes an axial having a head and a shaft having a series of shaft notches.
