COMPOSITE BINDING AGENT GRINDING WHEEL AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present application relates to a composite binding agent grinding wheel, wherein a weight percentage of each raw material of the grinding wheel is: 45-65% of pretreatment abrasive, 8-20% of resin bonding agent, 5-12% of hexagonal boron nitride, 5-10% of silicon dioxide, 5-15% of ceramic powder, 6-12% of prealloy powder bonding agent, and 1-3% of boron powder. The composite binding agent super-hard grinding wheel prepared by the present application can achieve nano-level grinding surface quality when grinding epitaxial wafers, and the grinding wheel has strong self-sharpening and high sharpness. It has obvious advantages in the finishing of silicon carbide crystal epitaxial wafers, which can solve the current limitations of back thinning processing of silicon carbide crystal epitaxial wafers.
POLYCRYSTALLINE DIAMOND CONSTRUCTIONS & METHODS OF MAKING SAME
A polycrystalline diamond construction has a body of polycrystalline diamond (PCD) material; and a cemented carbide substrate bonded to the body of polycrystalline material along an interface. The cemented carbide substrate has tungsten carbide particles bonded together by a binder material, the binder material comprising Co; and the tungsten carbide particles form at least around 70 weight percent and at most around 95 weight percent of the substrate. The cemented carbide substrate has a bulk volume, the bulk volume of the cemented carbide substrate having at least around 0.1 vol. % of inclusions of free carbon having a largest average size in any one or more dimensions of less than around 40 microns.
Method for producing a ceramic moulded body
The invention relates to a method for producing a ceramic moulded body, comprising the following steps: a) producing a green body containing ceramic material, binding agents and an organic pore forming agent; b) heating the green body to a temperature higher than the sublimation and/or decomposition temperature of the pore forming agent; c) burning the green body to form a ceramic moulded body. According to the invention, the binding agent comprises polyglycols and fumaric acid.

A method of forming a cutting element comprises disposing diamond particles in a container and disposing a metal powder on a side of the diamond particles. The diamond particles and the metal powder are sintered so as to form a polycrystalline diamond material and a low-carbon steel material comprising less than 0.02 weight percent carbon and comprising an intermetallic precipitate on a side of the polycrystalline diamond material. A manufacturing method of a polishing layer is provided. First, a mold for which the mold cavity has a contour pattern is provided, and the cross section of the contour pattern along a direction includes a plurality of recessions and at least one concavity portion, wherein the at least one concavity portion is disposed on the bottom of at least one of the recessions. A polymer material is disposed in the mold cavity. The polymer material is cured to form a semifinished product, wherein the cross section of the semifinished product along the direction includes a plurality of polishing portions corresponding to the recessions and at least one protruding portion corresponding to the at least one concavity portion. A flattening process is performed on the semifinished product to remove the at least one protruding portion.

A polycrystalline diamond construction has a body of polycrystalline diamond (PCD) material; and a cemented carbide substrate bonded to the body of polycrystalline material along an interface. An embodiment of a PCD insert comprises an embodiment of a PCD element joined to a cemented carbide substrate at an interface. The PCD element has internal diamond surfaces defining interstices between them. The PCD element comprises a masked or passivated region and an unmasked or unpassivated region, the unmasked or unpassivated region defining a boundary with the substrate, the boundary being the interface. At least some of the internal diamond surfaces of the masked or passivated region contact a mask or passivation medium, and some or all of the interstices of the masked or passivated region and of the unmasked or unpassivated region are at least partially filled with an infiltrant material.
