ELECTROPLATED STEEL WIRE SEGMENT-COMBINED GRINDING WHEEL
An electroplated steel wire segment-combined grinding wheel includes a base component for connecting an external device, and steel wire segments, wherein the steel wire segments are combined and assembled on the base component in a ring, and outer walls of the steel wire segments are plated with diamonds to form a grinding surface. The steel wire segments are combined and assembled mechanically on a support base, wherein the support base is a reusable tool, and replacing the grinding surface combined by the steel wire segments is convenient for reducing a renovation cost of the electroplated steel wire segment-combined grinding wheel. For the electroplated steel wire segment-combined grinding wheel, drainage channels are naturally formed between the steel wire segments and segment arcs, and thus, internally cooled type cooling and rapid chip removal are facilitated.
GRINDING WHEEL JIG
A grinding wheel jig includes a bottomed cylindrical grindstone accommodating section that accommodates the annular grindstone section, an annular base accommodating section that is located on a side opposite to a bottom portion of the grindstone accommodating section in a height direction of the grindstone accommodating section, has an outside diameter greater than an outside diameter of the grindstone accommodating section, and is capable of accommodating at least a part of the base, and a plurality of cylindrical bolt accommodating sections provided at bottom portions of the base accommodating sections and each capable of accommodating a head part of a bolt. In the grinding wheel jig, each bolt accommodating section is provided, at a bottom portion thereof, with an opening in which a fastening tool is insertable into the head part of the bolt.
Abrasive article and method of forming
An abrasive article can include an abrasive component including a body. The body can include a bond matrix and abrasive particles contained in the bond matrix. In an embodiment, the body can include an interconnected phase extending through at least a portion of the bond matrix. The body can include a discontinuous phase including a plurality of discrete members. At least one of the discrete member can include a macroscopic pore. In another embodiment, the body can include a porosity of at least 15 vol % for a total volume of the body.
DETACHABLE GRINDING TOOL
A grinding head assembly for a floor processing machine includes a plate that has a first side that has a tool attachment surface and a second side opposite the first side. A plurality of lippage adapters are attached to the second side of the plate. The plurality of lippage adapters each include a base portion that have a tool contact surface partially surrounded at a perimeter wall and are removably attached to the second side of the plate with at least one fastener. Each of the plurality of lippage adapters includes at least one magnet fixed to the base portion.
COMPOSITE ABRASIVE ATTACHMENT ARTICLE FOR CONCRETE POWER TROWEL MACHINE
The invention provides a float trowel blade attachment for cement floor finishers comprising a rectangular section of sheet metal having a top surface and a bottom surface and having its edges optionally bent upwardly, means for providing to the top surface a three-sided rearwardly open pocket on the back of the section adjacent the leading edge thereof adapted to partially receive a finish trowel blade of the finisher, a spring clip secured to the top surface or the pocket-forming means and extending rearwardly therefrom so as to be engageable with the finish trowel blade to retain the section thereon, and wherein said rectangular sheet metal has attached to its bottom surface using an adhesive or mechanical attachment material interlayer, a composite rigid abrasive element bonded to a resilient backing and wherein said abrasive element comprises a substrate of two or more non woven layers pads including holes for inserting grinding and polishing elements.
GRINDING WHEEL
A grinding wheel is mounted on a tip end of a spindle and the grinding wheel grinds a workpiece according to rotation of the spindle. The grinding wheel includes an annular base, and a plurality of grindstone sets disposed in an annular manner on one surface side of the base along a circumferential direction of the base. Each of the plurality of grindstone sets has a first grindstone and a second grindstone having a self-sharpening capability lower than that of the first grindstone, such that the first grindstone and the second grindstone are adjacent to each other in a predetermined orientation in the circumferential direction of the base, and a predetermined interval larger than an interval between the first grindstone and the second grindstone in the circumferential direction of the base is provided between adjacent ones of the grindstone sets.
GRINDING APPARATUS
A grinding apparatus has a grinding wheel fastened to a mount disk connected a spindle by a plurality of bolts. The mount disk has at least three threaded holes and a plurality of protrusions protruding from a mount surface thereof. Each of the bolts includes an externally threaded shank, a neck coupled to the externally threaded shank, and an engaging flange coupled to the neck and extending radially outwardly. The grinding wheel includes an annular open hole defined in a mating surface of an annular base for mating with the mount surface, an annular slot that is wider than the annular open hole and is fluidly connected to the annular open hole, at least three insertion holes in the annular open hole for allowing the engaging flange to be inserted into the annular slot, and a plurality of protrusion insertion holes for receiving the engaging flanges of the bolts.
WOOD DECK SANDING TOOL
A sanding wheel that may be used, e.g., to finish a wood deck, includes one or more risers. Each riser includes an angled face and a cross member, and the angled face and cross member define a slot therebetween. The retaining or fastening clip includes a retaining spring, and the fastening clip is received on the angled face of the riser with the retaining spring extending into the slot. The blade has an abrasive on a first end and an aperture at a second end, the aperture being defined by a shoulder about the aperture. The second end of the blade extends into the slot with the retaining spring of the fastening clip engaging the shoulder. The slot and the retaining spring are configured to mechanically lock the blade to the riser and the base.
