Deep-Hole Socket Driving Shank Assembly
A driving shank assembly includes a tube, a drive head, a connector, and two quick release nuts. The tube has two enlarged portions each having a mounting recess and an external thread. Each of the enlarged portions has a plurality of slits and a plurality of elastic clamping pieces between the slits. The drive head has a driving recess and a mounting shaft. The mounting shaft of the drive head is inserted into the mounting recess of the tube. The connector has a mounting shaft and a connecting shank. The mounting shaft of the connector is inserted into the mounting recess of the tube. The connecting shank of the connector has a retaining groove for mounting an actuating tool. Each of the quick release nuts has an internal thread screwed onto the external thread of the tube.
Disassembling tool and battery module using disassembling tool
Disclosed is a disassembling tool for a secondary battery. The disassembling tool includes a first rotation member configured to be rotatable and to allow a nut to be coupled thereto; a connection shaft coupled to the first rotation member; a second rotation member coupled to the connection shaft to transmit a rotational force to the connection shaft; and a housing, in which the connection shaft is disposed. The housing is inclined with respect to a virtual horizontal line parallel to a ground surface.
Tool with Gearless Ratchet Mechanism
Various designs for a gearless ratchet mechanism and tools incorporating the gearless ratchet mechanism are described. One embodiment relates to a gearless ratchet with a design for improved performance including low or zero swing angle and/or decreased part wear. Another embodiment relates to a gearless ratchet with features designed to maximize life and strength of the tool.
IMPACT TOOL
An impact tool includes a housing, an electric motor supported within the housing and having a motor shaft, a drive assembly including a camshaft rotatable about an axis, the camshaft having a stepped portion, and a gear assembly coupled between the motor shaft and the drive assembly. The gear assembly includes a ring gear having a projection with a support surface and a plurality of planet gears meshed with the ring gear. The impact tool further includes a plurality of pins coupling the planet gears to the camshaft. The support surface engages the stepped portion of the camshaft to rotationally support the camshaft.
Orbital hand wrench
An example hand wrench is provided. The hand wrench may include a handle (15) having a handle opening (12), and an orbital member (24) received within the handle opening. The orbital member may be configured to move orbitally about a point axis. The hand ratchet wrench may further include a driver affixed to the orbital member. The driver may be configured to receive a socket that interfaces with a fastener to turn the fastener.
RATCHET EXTENDER
A ratchet extender includes a first head having at least one ratchet drive square receiver and a first drive gear, a second head having at least one ratchet drive square and a second drive gear, and a drive shaft coupling the first drive gear to the second drive gear. As a user rotates the first drive gear using a ratchet coupled to the ratchet drive square receiver, the drive shaft rotates, thereby rotating the second drive gear and the ratchet drive square coupled thereto. As a result, a user is able to use ratchets in locations previously unreachable by such tools.
Ratchet wrench allowing easy change of rotation direction
A ratchet wrench allowing easy change of rotation direction includes a main body, a ratchet gear, a pawl, a sideways pushing member, and a direction changing device. The main body has a shaft connected with a head portion. The head portion has a receiving chamber housing the ratchet gear, the pawl, and the sideways pushing member and connected to a channel in the shaft. The direction changing device has a rotating rod in the channel, a sideways pushing button for rotating the rotating rod, an engaging member at the rear end of the sideways pushing member, and an engaging groove at the front end of the rotating rod and engaged with the engaging member, which is axially offset from the rotating rod. The rotating rod can rotate the sideways pushing member and thereby displace the pawl so that a different portion of the pawl meshes with the ratchet gear.
FASTENER COLLAR RETAINER
An apparatus for retaining a fastener is described. The apparatus includes a base, including a first aperture including a central axis; and a sidewall extending outward from the base and surrounding the central axis, where the sidewall is configured to hold on to a socket; an arm extending outward from the base, including a biasing mechanism connecting a first end of the arm to the base, where the biasing mechanism configured to relieve stress between the base and the arm when the arm is actuated; and a lip disposed at a second end of the arm, where the second end is at an opposite end of the arm than the first end, and where the lip is configured to retain the fastener or a wrenching element of the fastener; and a finger flange configured to actuate the arm, where the finger flange is attached to the arm.
Right angle adapter
An adapter for a bearing race and seal driver tool that allows the tool to be used in hard to reach applications. The adapter connects to a driver and a handle at a non-zero angle, for example a right angle, to allow the adapter to be struck at a face of the adapter rather than the handle to be struck at an end of the handle. A pocket is included at one or more connection points between the adapter and the handle or driver to resist rotational movement of the handle or driver.
Grease fitting installation tool and method
A grease fitting installation tool is disclosed. The grease fitting installation tool may include a hand tool useful for installing and uninstalling a grease fitting with a hexagonal collar, a threaded shank, and a nipple, i.e., a Zerk fitting. The hand tool may have a first tool head and a second tool head, each able to receive and manipulate a grease fitting. The first and second tool heads may be attached end to end, joining the heads in the center of a hand tool by a couple. The couple may have a wrench interface allowing the hand tool to be engaged by a wrench or other tool. Each tool head may include a hollow socket with a socket aperture and six internal contact surfaces that are hexagonally arranged. The tool head may also include a deformable, cylindrical gripping member disposed within the hollow socket for retaining the grease fitting when the grease fitting is inserted into the gripping member.
