Ratcheting or Non-Ratcheting Driver With Configurable Bit Storage
20170312907 · 2017-11-02 ·

A ratcheting or non-ratcheting bit driver with a bit storage or “cartridge” that fits in the hollow portion of the driver handle. The bit storage or “cartridge” enables access to bits from both ends of all bits at a perpendicular orientation to the main axis of the handle while contained within the handle. The device remains in one piece rather than separating the assembly into two pieces, a handle and a cartridge during use.

Multi-Grip Socket Bit
20170312897 · 2017-11-02 ·

A screw bit body which allows for efficient torque force application onto a socket fastener. The screw bit body includes a plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls, a first base, and a second base. The laterally-bracing sidewalls are radially distributed about a rotation axis of the screw bit body with each further including a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a bracing surface, and an engagement cavity. The engagement cavity creates an additional gripping point to prevent slippage in between the screw bit body and the socket fastener. The engagement cavity traverses normal and into the bracing surface. Additionally, the engagement cavity traverses into the screw bit body from the first base to the second base. The engagement cavity is specifically positioned offset from the first lateral edge by a first distance and positioned offset from the second lateral edge by a second distance.

SCREWDRIVER BIT ASSEMBLY WITH A MAGNETIC STRUCTURE
20170297183 · 2017-10-19 ·

A screwdriver bit assembly includes a magnetic ring mounted in a front end of a sleeve hole of a sleeve. A retaining ring is made of a material more rigid than the sleeve, is mounted in the sleeve hole, and is located behind the magnetic ring. A screwdriver bit includes an insertion end, an extending section behind the insertion end, a flange section behind the extending section, and a clamping section behind the flange section. The front end of the screwdriver bit extends through the sleeve hole of the sleeve, the retaining ring, and the magnetic ring. The insertion end extends beyond the sleeve and is located in front of a front end face of the sleeve. The flange section abuts the retaining ring. The clamping section is held by a holding device mounted on the sleeve, providing a holding force towards a longitudinal axis of the sleeve hole.

Driving Tool

A driving tool includes a coupling component defining a compartment and a driving component received by the compartment. The compartment includes a first receiving section and a second receiving section. The driving component includes a first driving body portion, a second driving body portion, and a connecting portion. The connecting portion is inserted through the first receiving section and is fixedly disposed in the second receiving section. The connecting portion and the second receiving section are forced into a tight interference fit with each other. The second driving body portion includes a length inserted and disposed in the first receiving section. The first and second driving body portions are made to have a first hardness and the connecting portion is made to have a second a second hardness respectively. The second hardness is less than the first hardness.

ITEM FOR TIGHTENING TO THE CORRECT TORQUE, AND ELECTRICAL PROTECTION DEVICE COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE TERMINAL CONNECTED BY MEANS OF SUCH AN ITEM
20170288319 · 2017-10-05 · ·

An item for tightening including a first part including a first end part forming an end piece to engage with the head of a screw, and a second end part to engage with an actuating member, such that activation of the actuating member causes turning of the screw and the tightening, this first part being able to break into two portions upon reaching the recommended tightening torque, respectively a first portion including the first end part and a second portion including the second end part. A second part is mounted tightly about the first part, a holding device is provided in part on the first part and in part on the second part and being able to retain the second portion of the first part inside the second part of the item in order to prevent this second portion leaving this second part of the item after rupture of the first part.

Fastener Extractor Device

A fastener extractor tool is an apparatus that is used to remove a seized or damaged fastener. The apparatus may include at least one shank body and at least one torque-tool body. The at least one shank body allows the apparatus to be attached to an external torque tool. The torque-tool body engages the seized fastener to apply torque to dislodge said seized fastener. The at least one torque-tool body may include a plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls and at least one engagement feature. The plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls engage with the seized fastener to efficiently transfer torque from the external torque tool to the seized fastener. The at least one engagement feature is an engagement cavity that forms at least one engagement tooth on the at least one torque-tool body. The at least one engagement tooth engages the seized fastener to ensure torque is transferred to the seized fastener.

Improved connection techniques are provided. In some embodiments, specialized connectors are provided with both physical fastening and signal-conducting attributes. In some such embodiments, signals related to conditions of a connector are passed through the connector. In other embodiments, multiple-section connectors are included, which may be self-actuating and create remotely-detectable conditions and signals.

ANTI-SLIP DRIVING TOOL ADAPTED TO BE USED AT AN ANGLE OFF-AXIS TO OBJECT TO BE DRIVEN
20220203508 · 2022-06-30 ·

A driving tool includes a body portion, a driving portion, and a neck portion, wherein the driving portion defines a reference rotating axis, wherein distal end of the driving portion opposite to the body portion is provided with a front driving face having a first width in a radial direction of the reference rotating axis, wherein the neck portion is formed between the body portion and the driving portion and has a second width in the radial direction of the reference rotating axis, wherein the second width is less than the first width.

Magnetic sleeve
11364605 · 2022-06-21 ·

A magnetic sleeve includes a body and a magnetic unit disposed in a second section of the body where a locking socket and a mounting hole are formed and communicating with each other. The mounting hole is enclosed by a peripheral wall while taking a reference point as center. The peripheral wall includes at least one engagement surface and at least one curved wall surface. Each engagement surface has two transition points for meeting the wall surface. The formation of one engagement surface or more engagement surfaces not only attains a firm engagement between the magnetic unit and the mounting hole but also forms a space therebetween to discharge air from the mounting hole smoothly, thereby preventing the magnetic unit from being broken during the installation. The space is also minimized to avoid undue accumulation of metal chips and allow the magnetic unit to be held in position stably.
