DRIVER TOOL AND METHOD OF USE
A driver tool for insertion and removal of a first part configured for threaded engagement in a corresponding threaded bore in a second part has a driving end portion of polygonal shape with multiple flats configured for engagement in a recess in the first part having a corresponding polygonal shape. Some or all of the flats have a respective grabbing feature or edge designed to grab or grip into the opposing surface of the recess to allow a greater amount of torque to be applied to the first part when the tool is rotated in the unthreading direction than when it is rotated in the opposite threading or insertion direction.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A FASTENER WITH AN INTERIOR SHAFT
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed. The apparatus includes a body coupled to a head, the head including a hole of at least three sides and a shaft of at least three sides, the shaft being disposed inside the hole. The system includes a fastener apparatus that includes a head including a hole of at least three sides and a shaft of at least three sides located inside the hole. The system further includes a fastener driver that includes a driver head of at least three sides, and a driver hole of at least three sides, the driver hole located within the head. The method includes providing a fastener apparatus that includes a body coupled to a head, the head including a hole of at least three sides and a shaft of three sides that is located within the hole. The method further includes using the fastener apparatus.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR A FASTENER HEAD HAVING A DUAL ZONE SOCKET AREA AND A MATING DRIVER BIT
Methods and apparatus for a fastener head having a dual zone socket area and a mating driver bit according to aspects of the present technology include a fastener configured with driving surfaces adapted to provide enhanced engagement between each other during use. The fastener includes a recessed socket area with a sidewall that has an upper inwardly tapering section and a lower vertical section that extends to the bottom of the recessed socket area. The upper inwardly tapering section of the sidewall may also include an offset relative to the lower vertical section to create asymmetrical driving and removal surfaces. The technology also includes a corresponding mating driver bit configured with mating surfaces to the fastener to provide enhanced engagement between the fastener and mating driver bit. The technology also allows either the fastener or the driving bit to be used with preexisting fasteners and driver bits.
Quick-release screwdriver structure
A quick-release screwdriver structure includes a tool holder and a tool head embedded in a head portion of the tool holder. A fixing seat is sleeved outside the tool head; an inner wall of the fixing seat is provided with a notch, and a bottom surface of the notch is an inclined surface; a steel ball connected to a release ring is installed in the notch, and the steel ball contacts the tool head; and a movement of the release ring will drive the steel ball to move along a longitudinal direction of the bottom surface of the notch so as to lock or release the tool head. A new locking assembly is designed to act on a surface of the tool head so as to achieve locking and disassembly of the tool head.
Chainsaw Accessory
A mechanism for reducing time-lost to tedious but necessary adjustments while using a chainsaw is disclosed, as well as methods of manufacture and use. An embodiment has a metal part fitting inside a plastic handle portion, where the two are sometimes assembled in two halves and then pressed molded or fastened together, in the form of a pull-handle positioned at the end of a starter-cord on a chainsaw. Another embodiment has the metal part containing a flat-blade screwdriver surface at one end, which matches and mates with some type of slotted adjustment fixture within the chainsaw; and where the other end has a socket wrench which matches up with an adjustment bolt within the chainsaw. Yet another embodiment has a dog-bone (socket) wrench fitting at one end, and a flat-blade at the other end.
MAGNETIC SLEEVE FOR POSITIONING SCREWDRIVER BIT
An apparatus includes a body, a sleeve, a magnetic member and an engaging member. The body includes a function end and a first groove with first and second end faces. The sleeve includes a first room and a reception area defined therein. A second groove is defined in the outside of the sleeve and located corresponding to the first groove. The second groove includes holes defined radially therethrough which communicates with the reception area. The magnetic member is receive in the first room. The engaging member is engaged with the second groove and has first portions inserted through the holes in the second groove. The second engaging portion is connected to the first engaging portions and protrudes beyond the reception area so as to be engaged with the first groove of the body and movable between the first and second end faces of the first groove.
UNIVERSAL TOOLS
A universal tool which can be a screwdriver, wrench, pliers, or any other tool. The tool can operate on an object (e.g., a screw, bolt, etc.) of any shape because of a set of pins that can mold to match a shape of the object. For example, a same universal screwdriver has pegs which mold themselves to match a shape of a slotted screw head or mold themselves to match a shape of a philips screw head. A user of the universal screwdriver can then turn such screw by turning the universal screwdriver in a standard fashion. When the universal screwdriver is removed from the object, then the pegs automatically revert themselves to a default position so a different shaped screw head can then be operated on.
Socket for driving asymmetric fastener heads
A socket having an offset drive keyway for transmitting torque to asymmetric fastener heads to facilitate their rotation by applying torque across the fastener end to minimize stress on the fastener end-fastener shaft joint.
Pocket screwdriver
A pair of screwdrivers each having a handle, a nondetachable outer shaft, a detachable inner shaft, and at least two detachable double-ended screwdriver bits. Each screwdriver handle is formed having a hollow space configured to substantially house the outer screwdriver shaft, the inner screwdriver shaft, and the at least two double-ended screwdriver bits of the other screwdriver, whereby, the pair of screwdrivers may be assembled together when not in use so that the outer shaft, the inner shaft, and the at least two double-ended screwdriver bits of both screwdrivers are substantially non-exposed to prevent the potential for accidental user injury.
Curved-tip screwdriver and screwdriver bit
Various embodiments of a curved-tip screwdriver bit are presented. The bit may include a shank, a body connected with the shank, and a tip disposed at an end of the body. The tip may include curved blades that project from the end of the shaft. A first curved blade may have a first arc shaped cross section. A second curved blade may have a second arc shaped cross section. A radius of the second arc-shaped cross section may be greater than a radius of the first arc-shaped cross section of the first curved blade.
