Apparatus for storing screws and guiding screws during insertion
An apparatus for storing fasteners, typically screws, and guiding them during insertion into a surface employs a block of material having a lower face for bringing into proximity with surface and an upper face, parallel to the lower face. A set of screws are embedded in the block with their central axes parallel such that the screw heads are accessible to a driver from an upper face and screw tips are located within the block adjacent to a lower face. The screws are preferably deployed in side-by-side rows, advantageously in one or more rectangular or hexagonal grid. A driver acting on the head of one of screws is effective to drive the screw through block and into surface to reach a final inserted position.
SCREW TIGHTENING ANGLE CONVERSION HEAD
Disclosed a screw tightening angle conversion head, including a conversion head body, wherein one end of which is fixedly provided with a mounting groove, a fixed cover plate is fixedly arranged at the upper end of the mounting groove, a transmission worm is rotatably arranged at one end inside the conversion head body close to the mounting groove, one end of the transmission worm penetrates through the conversion head body and extends out from an outer end, a rotating seat is fixedly arranged at a rotational junction between the transmission worm and the inside of the conversion head body, annular worm teeth are fixedly arranged at the outer side of the transmission worm, a rotating shaft is rotatably arranged at one end inside the conversion head body away from the transmission worm, and the outer wall of the rotating shaft is fixedly connected with an intermediate gear.
Screw guide and related method of use
A fastener guide is provided including a base plate that engages a first board, a guide member that maintains an advancing fastener at a preselected offset angle relative to the first board, and a retainer clip that engages a second board that is transverse to the first board. The retainer clip includes first and second prongs that resiliently hold the guide in place as the fastener is advanced at the offset angle, optionally without manual input so that a user can manipulate the fastener and a driving tool instead of holding the guide to align the fastener. A related method of use is provided.
Methods for using fastener installation tools
Methods for using installation tools are disclosed. Fastener installation tools engage the distal end of an elongated. Two projection elements positioned in a plane on the installation tool and a channel between the projection elements further are positionable to provide a marker for a user during use to achieve an optimal installation location.
Tension fed fastener installation tool and related methods of use
An installation tool and related methods are provided. The tool can pull a strip of collated fasteners along a collated fastener path to a guide, where individual fasteners are sequentially separated from the strip and advanced into a workpiece. The tool can include a tension feeder located downstream of the guide. The tension feeder is configured to apply tension to the strip between the guide and a leading end of the strip. The tool can include a driveshaft configured to attach to a conventional drive tool chuck or a drive tool having hexagonal type drive components. The guide can be one piece and replaceable, with a guide body and a guide head. A strip slot can be defined in the same to align a fastener head with a backstop and facilitate entry of a fastener shank in a feed slot. Related methods of use are provided.
Tool for driving a fastener
A hand tool for driving a fastener is provided. The hand tool includes gearing that interconnects a splined socket to a rotatable or trigger actuator and increases a rotational speed of the splined socket relative to the actuator. The hand tool may include a power tool receiver or an independent motor to drive rotation of the splined socket to advance or retract a fastener from a threaded shaft. By increasing the speed and conserving rotational inertia, the hand tool reduces the time to secure a fastener on a threaded shaft. A rotatable nut is provided. The rotatable nut can slideably orient along a first axis and threadedly orient along a second axis to fasten to an adjacent surface.

Precision screw starting device
A screw starting device is provided. The screw starting device includes a body, an adjustment assembly and a screw holder. The body includes a screw holding portion and an indexing surface. The adjustment assembly is integral with the screw holding portion. The screw holder is removably attachable to the adjustment assembly. The screw holder includes an insert selected from a group of inserts respectively compatible with screws of varying types. The adjustment assembly is operable to adjust a location of the screw holder relative to the indexing surface.
Multifunctional screwdriver provided with screw finder
A multifunctional screwdriver with a screw finder comprises a bottle opener mounted on a handle and a screw finder threaded connected to the end of the handle. The screw finder comprises a tail cover with a through hole formed in its inner wall, a universal joint with a gibbosity arranged on each side of its outer circle wall, a magnet frame and a magnet. The universal joint is mounted in the tail cover through the gibbosity and the through hole. The magnet frame with the magnet embedded therein is mounted in the universal joint. When the magnet approaches to the screw, the universal joint and the magnet rotate due to the magnetic force, and the mounting position of the screw can be found. When the screwdriver is not used, the screwdriver can be directly hung to a wall through the bottle opener with a function of opening a bottle cover.
Positioner, guide and/or magazine for screws and nails
An aspect of some embodiments of the current invention relates to a positioner for holding one or more fasteners (e.g. screws and/or nails) which allows a user to push the fasteners out directly into a target material. For example, a user may locate the positioner over a location on the target material and/or drive the fastener through the positioner into the target. In some embodiments, the positioner includes multiple fasteners, for example the positioner may be used as a magazine of fasteners and/or a storage box for fasteners. Optionally, the positioner includes a hard frame and/or a soft passage holding the fastener. For example, a fastener is inserted into the top of the passage and driven (e.g. pushed, hammered and/or screwed) through, out the bottom of the passage into the target. Optionally, multiple positioners may be arranged along a guide.
