An indexing ring has a plurality of recesses and is configured to be non-rotatably attached to the power tool housing. A detent is biased to removably engage one of the plurality of recesses, and is configured to be non-rotatably attached to the magazine housing. The detent removably engages the recesses to allow for indexed tool-free rotation of the magazine housing relative to the power tool housing.
SCREW HOLDING AND DISPENSING DEVICE
A screw holding and dispensing device includes a casing, a number of elastic members latched on an inner sidewall of the casing, and a pressing member received by the elastic member. Each elastic member carries a screw, to release a screw, an external force is applied on the pressing member, the pressing member is driven to move out of the top elastic member, the pressing member moves down and drives out the lowermost screw from the bottom elastic member, and the screw slides into a corresponding screw hole.
BIT ATTACHMENT DEVICE AND TIGHTENING MODULE
Provided is a bit attachment device comprising an attaching sleeve, a disassembling-attaching assembly and an abutting assembly arranged in sequence. A first end of the attaching sleeve is attached to a movable rod within the tightening module via a buffer assembly to synchronize movement with the movable rod. A first end of an attaching shaft of the disassembling-attaching assembly forms a tight fit with a second end of the attaching sleeve via a spline structure, and the second end is attached to a bit. The abutting assembly is movably provided at a position on an outer periphery of the second end of the attaching sleeve, so that it can abut against the attaching shaft in a radial direction or move away from the attaching sleeve to loosen the attaching shaft, and with the buffer assembly, mitigate the impact force of the structure to be locked when the bolt is installed.
Handheld Fastener Installation Guide
A handheld guide for advancing and installing a decking fastener with an elongate track with a rail and an advancement member. The advancement member carries a pivoting pawl with an engagement surface for advancing fasteners forward through the track to an installation position with a frontmost fastener aligned with a screw guide for driving a screw through the frontmost fastener. The rail has a ramp transitioning to a cliff and a lower ledge such that the frontmost fastener is maintained forward of the cliff above the ledge in the installation position. The pawl pivots to disengage from the fasteners when the advancement member moves rearwardly along the track.
SUCCESSIVE SCREW FASTENER
The present invention provides a successive screw fastener which enhances a screw fastening function and improves operability and rapidness of each element.
A successive screw fastener 1 according to the present invention has: a grip unit 2 including a trigger switch 16 with a direction lever 17 which sets a direction of forward rotation or reverse rotation of a rotary drive section 22 which rotationally drives a bit B; a screw fastener main body unit 3 including a gap adjustment mechanism section 91 which assuredly guides a screw S to a fastening acting position, a screw feed mechanism section 61 which avoids interference of the screw S and the bit B, a screw guide position adjustment mechanism section 101 which can simply adjust a gap between the fastening acting position and a fastening target position, and a magazine mounting mechanism section 111 having rigidity; a magazine unit 4 which can be easily attached to or detached from the screw fastener main body unit 3; and a handle unit 5 having excellent operability of an operator.
Fastener, installation tool and related method of use
A fastener installation tool and related method are provided for installing fasteners in boards. The tool can include a feed mechanism that automatically and sequentially feeds collated fasteners to a nose assembly. The nose assembly can include a guide having an alignment projection extending downwardly from the guide, and configured to engage a board corner and/or side surface, so as to align an angled bore through which fasteners are guided with the board corner and or side surface. The nose assembly can include a magnetic element located adjacent a path on which the collated fasteners are advanced. The magnetic element can exert a magnetic force on an individual fastener, aligning it for precise entry into the angled bore. The nose assembly can include a guide pocket to positively constrain a fastener as it rotates to ensure a desired advancement trajectory. A related method of installation is provided.
SEPARATING DEVICE, MAGAZINE ATTACHMENT AND FASTENING SYSTEM
A separating device separating fastening elements from a container comprises a transfer channel for transferring fastening elements in a transfer direction, the transfer channel having a separating section; a stop element, having a blocking position, in which the stop element projects into the separating section, blocking the channel for the fastening element, such that one fastening element rests against the stop element in a waiting position, and an onward transfer position, in which the stop element allows movement of the fastening element in the transfer direction to a standby position; and a retention element, having a retaining position, in which the retention element projects into the separating section, blocking the channel for the fastening element, such that the fastening element rests against the retention element in the standby position, and a release position, in which the retention element allows fastening element movement in the transfer direction beyond the separating section.
