A tool for installation and removal of flexible couplings includes a first plate having a hinge member rigidly extending from the first plate and a shaft engaging feature defined in the first plate opposite the hinge member thereof. A second plate has a hinge member rigidly extending from the second plate and a shaft engaging feature defined in the second plate opposite the hinge member thereof. The hinge members of first and second plates are hinged together for rotation of the first and second plates about a hinge axis to actuate the shaft engaging features toward and away from one another.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SEPARATING ROTOR BLADE CUFFS FROM ROTOR BLADE BODIES
20170291724 · 2017-10-12 ·

A rotor blade disassembly method includes applying spanwise support to a rotor blade body and heating a bond disposed on an end of the rotor blade body. The method also includes removing the spanwise support from the rotor blade body and exerting shear stress on the bond using weight of the rotor blade body. A blade disassembly system is also described.

Positioning tool for circular lubricant dam insert, and related method

A positioning tool for axially positioning a circular lubricant dam insert on a splined drive shaft may include a circular body having an inner surface configured to slide over an outer surface of the splined drive shaft. A first plurality of splines may be positioned on an inner surface of the circular body, the first plurality of splines mating with a second plurality of splines on the outer surface of the splined drive shaft. A depth setting member may be positioned on the circular body that defines an axial extent to which the circular body slides over the outer surface of the splined drive shaft. A position setting element may extend axially from the circular body to contact an axial end of the insert to axially position the insert on the splined drive shaft.

Pulling Device for Flexible Conduit Tubing
20170321823 · 2017-11-09 ·

A pipe pulling device guides extruded plastic conduit tubing through a building structure. The device has a fastener body including a main shaft supporting a resilient expansion sleeve thereon that can be inserted into an open end of the tubing. A nut is threaded onto the main shaft for axially compressing the expansion sleeve between the nut and a fastener head at the inner end of the main shaft to radially expand the sleeve within the tubing and frictionally grip the fastener body relative to the tubing. The nut is tapered outwardly and supports an elongate, rigid tip body extending longitudinally outward from the tubing to guide insertion of the tubing through cavities in the building structure. Various accessories can be secured to the nut or the tip body to assist insertion of the pipe pulling device through different building structures.

Pull-off device for conical pin bushing and locking device for screw
09764455 · 2017-09-19 · ·

A pull-off device is for a radially expandable bushing on a pivot pin. An end plate is arranged to rest against a bushing end face. The end plate is arranged to be attached to a pin end face via at least one first screw which extends through a cut-out in the end plate and into a threaded bore with a first thread diameter in the pin end face. A coupling element forms a releasable, axial connection between the end plate and the bushing. The end plate is provided with at least one threaded screw hole with a second thread diameter arranged in the axial direction of the end plate and is arranged to receive a second screw which, by axial displacement towards the pin end face, subjects the end plate and the bushing to a force directed axially outwards. A locking device for a bolt is described as well.
