MITRE JOINT SUPPORT
A support for a mitre joint uses two wedging mechanisms disposed at a characteristic angle. Each wedging mechanism is arranged to locate inside a hollow rail, such as within an extruded hollow beam. The wedging mechanism can be operated from outside the joint in order to clamp the mechanism in position. The mechanism has a self centering capability to assist in accurately locating the rails relative to each other.
Clamp with nested reversible interlocking assemblies
The present invention relates to a device and a method associated with the device. With respect to the device, it is a work holding and clamping device, which increases the usable span to almost twice its stored length. This device has an inner and outer assembly. The inner and outer assemblies are nested or telescopic. Each assembly is made of a square or rectangular tube that has a jaw affixed to one end. The inner assembly contains a locking mechanism to allow for length adjustment. When arranged so that the jaws are on the same side of the respective assemblies, the clamp is capable of a span that is almost equal to the length of the inner assembly. When arranged so that the jaws are on opposite sides of the respective assemblies, the clamp is capable of a span that is almost equal to the sum of the length of the inner assembly and outer assembly.

QUICK ACTION CLAMPING APPARATUS
A dual-cam device is described configured to be engaged with a rail and a stopper for clamping at least one object. The dual cam device comprises a jaw; a body; a member connecting the jaw and the body wherein the member has a member-base configured to associate with and slide on the rail; and a lever pivotally connected to the member, wherein the lever has a first cam and a second cam and wherein the lever is configured to be tilted from an open position to a clamp position and vice versa. During tilting the lever from an open position to a clamp position in which the object is clamped, the first cam causes the dual cam device to secure emplacement position of the dual cam device to the rail and then the second cam causes the dual cam device to press and clamp the object by the jaw against the stopper. It is further described a clamping apparatus that comprises at least one dual cam device; at least one rail having a channel; and at least one stopper.
Straight edge clamp
The present invention relates to a straight edge clamp that has a clamping head assembly and an end stop mounted upon the body of the straight edge. The clamping head assembly has a locking assembly that allows it to be locked to the straight edge. The straight edge clamp body can include sections that are adapted to be connected together to form the overall length of the straight edge clamp.
CLAMP WITH CAM LEVER
Provided is a compressible cam lever that has a section that can be compressed by external force. When the external force is released, elastic force within the cam lever causes the section to return back to its original position creating a spring force. The compressible cam lever may be used as part of a handle for opening and closing a clamp that is part of a tripod or other piece of equipment which can hold rails for firearms, sights, scopes, parts, and the like, therein. The compressible cam lever may include a handle, a round-shaped section comprising a flexible curved surface that curves back towards the handle and protrudes outward, and an opening disposed between an end of the flexible curved surface and the handle.

This clamping device has an inner and outer assembly which are nested, and each assembly is made of a rectangular tube with a jaw affixed to one end.
STRAIGHT EDGE CLAMP
The present invention relates to a straight edge clamp that has a clamping head assembly and a stop assembly mounted upon the body of the straight edge. The head and stop are not connected together and the stop assembly is free to move with respect to the head assembly. The stop assembly has a locking assembly that allows it to be locked to the straight edge. The straight edge clamp body can include sections that are adapted to be connected together to form the overall length of the straight edge clamp.
