PLIERS
A pliers is provided, including a first member, a second member and a control assembly. The first member has a first grip portion, a first body portion and a first jaw. The first body portion has an engaging face, a slot which is disposed on the engaging face and at least one tooth row which is arranged along the slot. The second member has a second grip portion, a second body portion and a second jaw. A pivot hole is disposed in the second body portion. The control assembly has a positioning member which is movably disposed through the pivot hole and within the slot and an operation member which is rotatably connected with the second body portion. At least one position tooth is disposed on the positioning member. The positioning member is movable with the operation member.
SELF-LOCKING PLIERS
A pair of self-locking pliers includes three body structures pivotally connected. Each of the three body structure has a slot, and a shaft engages in the slots. The slots cooperate to surround a space and the shaft is constrained in the space. Two of the three body structures include two jaws and are pivotal relative to each other between a first position in which the two jaws are disposed adjacent to each other, and a second position in which the two jaws are disposed apart from each other. The first, second, and third slots are adapted to releasably restrain the shaft, thereby preventing the first, second, and third body structures from pivoting relative to each other.

PLIERS STRUCTURE
A pliers includes a first pliers body and a second pliers body. The first pliers body includes an upper jaw section, a middle section and a first handle. The second pliers body includes a lower jaw section, a pivotally connected portion and a second handle. A groove including a front arc section close to the upper jaw section and a rear arc section close to the first handle is disposed on the middle section. Centers of curvature corresponding to the front arc section and the rear arc section are located on different sides of the groove. An adjustable button passing through the groove and connected with the first pliers body is disposed on the pivotally connected portion. A clip mouth is defined between the upper jaw section and the lower jaw section. A width of the clip mouth is changeable with a movement of the adjustable button.

ADJUSTABLE PLIERS WITH LEVER TYPE POSITIONING DEVICE
A pair of adjustable pliers with lever type positioning device includes a clamp body, a first handle slidably engaged with the clamp body, a second handle, and a lever type positioning device. The first handle includes an adjustment tooth. The lever type positioning device pivotally combines the second handle with the first handle, so that the second handle and the clamp body are linked. The lever type positioning device includes a lever member and a positioning member. The lever member pivots between a locked position and a release position. The positioning member is combined with the lever member and includes a positioning tooth. At the locked position, the positioning tooth is engaged with the adjustment tooth. At the release position, the positioning member is disengaged from the adjustment tooth, thereby adjusting the opening degree between the clamp body and the first handle.

Tool with handle offsets
Disclosed is a tool, such as pliers, with handle offsets and stop features. In an embodiment, the tool has a minimum of about 0.50 inches of clearance between handles in an area where a user's index finger contacts the handles. This is accomplished by offsetting upper and lower handles of the tool. For example, the lower handle may be offset about 1.10 inches from a pivot point between the handles. Similarly, an end of the upper handle may be offset by about 1.150 inches from the pivot point when jaws of the tool are adjusted to a closed position.

Push button release mechanism for pliers
A push button release mechanism for coupling together two portions of a tool, such as pliers. The push button release mechanism can include a push button and one or more balls pushed in a radially-outward direction by geometry of the push button to pivotally couple the two portions together. The balls are normally pushed outward by an engagement portion. Depressing a push button head axially downward causes the balls to align with a receiving portion, which allows the balls to descend into the interior of the mechanism. The push button release mechanism is also threadably coupled with a threaded opening of one of the portions. The threaded opening can have deformed threads to increase the retention torque required to rotate the push button release mechanism.
