A pliers tool (01) includes a hosting pliers that attaches to and manipulates a separate, principal use pliers (02) wherein the hosting pliers has as a first receiver and a first retainer as facilitated by a PLBA (50) that is connected to a first frontward ply (24a). The PLBA (50) is configured to receive and retain to a ply assembly of the hosting pliers a handle of the principal use pliers (02).

A pair of pliers includes an upper structure, a lower structure including a lower handle, an over center linkage, and a lock member. The lock member is movable between a locking configuration and a release configuration. When the lock member is in the locking configuration, it prevents pivoting movement of the lower handle from a closed configuration and retains jaws of the pliers in a closed position. When the lock member is in the release configuration, it enables the lower handle to be moved away from the closed configuration and allows the jaws to move to an open position. Movement of the lock member from the locking configuration to the release configuration requires sequential movement of the lock member in a first direction and then in a second direction. The second direction is different than the first direction.

Right angle clamping pliers include a four-bar linkage clamping mechanism coupled to opposing pairs of clamping arms. Any of a variety of detachable clamping members can be attached to each clamping arm. Some clamping members orient the parts being joined. For example, right angle clamping members orient edges and curved C-shaped clamping members orient tubes, pipes and other cylindrical parts. Different types of clamping members can be used in a single configuration to accommodate a wide variety of parts to be joined.

One or more clamping aid tools for mounting to various squares and straight edges, including carpenter squares, framing squares, speed squares or the like, and various straight edges and rulers for easily and accurately positioning various objects, either flat and/or round, magnetic or not. The clamping aid tools can secure these squares and straight edges to various objects while they are being fitted, secured and/or welded together.

A locking pliers is provided, including a first clamp assembly, a second clamp assembly, a connecting member and an adjustment threaded rod. The first clamp assembly has a fixed jaw and a fixed grip. The second clamp assembly has a movable jaw, a movable grip, an operation member and a sleeve, the movable jaw is pivoted to the first clamp assembly, the movable grip is swingably assembled to the movable jaw, the sleeve is sleeved on the operation member, and the sleeve and the operation member are coaxially pivoted to the movable grip. The connecting member is pivoted to the movable grip and movably assembled to the fixed grip, and the connecting member selectively abuts against the operation member. The adjustment threaded rod is movably screwed to the fixed grip.

A pair of locking pliers includes a fixed handle, a fixed jaw fixedly connected to the fixed handle and including a first edge with a plurality of asymmetrical first teeth extending therefrom and a second edge, a movable jaw pivotally connected to the fixed handle and including a third edge and a fourth edge with a plurality of asymmetrical second teeth extending therefrom, and a movable handle pivotally connected to the movable jaw.

An apparatus comprises an adjustable locking plier body. A split jaw top is joined to the plier body. The split jaw top comprises a left jaw and a right jaw. The left jaw and the right jaw are separated by a distance. A bottom jaw is joined to the plier body. The bottom jaw is generally centered on the distance, wherein the bottom jaw and the split top jaw are operative for clamping a work piece inserted between the bottom jaw and the split jaw top.

The invention relates to pliers (1). The pliers might be embodied as crimping pliers (2), cutting pliers or pipe crimping pliers. In the pliers (1) pliers jaws (3, 4) are driven by hand levers (8, 9) via a toggle lever drive (13). The toggle lever drive (13) is not formed by toggle lever rods or toggle lever bars. Instead, imaginary toggle levers are formed by a plurality of toggle lever components (35) which are movable along contact contours (30, 37; 33, 38) relative to each other.

Pliers are provided. Pliers include an upper handle, a lower handle, an upper jaw coupled to the upper handle, and a lower jaw coupled to the lower handle. In general, the upper jaw includes workpiece engagement surface, such a first set of teeth configured to engage a workpiece, and the lower jaw includes a workpiece engagement surface, such as a second set of teeth and a third set of teeth. The lower jaw opposes the upper jaw such that the first set of teeth faces the second set of teeth and the third set of teeth. At least a section of the workpiece engagement surface of the lower jaw is movably coupled to the lower jaw such that it moves relative to the lower as torque is applied to a workpiece, thereby increasing torque applied to the workpiece.

Locking pliers according to an embodiment of the present disclosure can be easily unlocked by pressing a pressing unit of an opening lever with a thumb while gripping the levers with one hand, and the locking pliers can give tension to an object by pulling the object through the principle of leverage.
