Fastener driving tool
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a combustion powered fastener driving tool including a fuel cell receiver configured to receive and engage a fuel cell metering valve of a fuel cell, the fuel cell metering valve configured to dispense a dose of fuel from the fuel cell.
Rechargeable Battery-Operated Plier Stapler Device
The present invention relates to a battery-operated non pneumatic plier stapler for accurately and effectively applying staple fasteners onto a surface. The plier stapler includes a rechargeable battery pack secured into a battery slot for providing electric power to a driver piston assembly. The battery pack is removably mounted to the battery socket and can be replaced with another battery pack. The stapler further includes a laser sight to indicate precise staple placement during application, thereby enabling accurate stapling operation. A magazine stores staples and the staples are biased towards nose using springs and rollers. The clencher clutches legs of individual staples to finish the stapling process. The stapler is cordless and obviates the need to use air compressors to apply staples, thereby eliminating limits on movement, air supply, and other factors.

Cable staple tool assembly with a self-adjusting cable guide
A self-adjusting cable guide can be coupled to a nosepiece assembly having a contact end and can be movable between an extended guide position and a retracted guide position relative to the contact end of the nosepiece assembly. A contact trip arm can be adjacent the cable guide and can have a distal end positioned to contact a cable received within a guide recess of the cable guide. The contact trip arm can be movable between an extended arm position corresponding to an inactive state of the tool and a retracted arm position corresponding to an active state of the tool. In addition, the cable guide can have a non-aligned orientation, in which cooperating misalignment stop surfaces can engage each other to stop movement of the self-adjusting cable guide toward the retracted guide position and an aligned orientation in which movement into the retracted guide position is permitted.

Impact device
An impact device includes a drive assembly, a cam having a ramp and a fall-off, and a follower associated with the cam. During rotation of the cam, one of the cam or the follower axially displaces as the follower traverses the cam and falls off the fall-off to transform the rotary motion of the drive assembly to a reciprocating motion having a saw-tooth shape that includes a gradual retraction and a quick extension. The quick extension creates an impact loading, which can be used, for example, for driving a fastener into a work piece.

Surgical instrument with variable duration trigger arrangement
A motorized surgical instrument is disclosed. The surgical instrument includes a displacement member, a motor coupled to displacement member, a control circuit coupled to the motor, a parameter sensor coupled to the control circuit and a position sensor coupled to the control circuit. The control circuit is configured to receive a parameter output of the parameter sensor indicative of a force applied to translate the displacement member, determine a duration during which the parameter output is maintained at or above a predetermined fault threshold, receive a position output of the position sensor indicative of at least one position of the displacement member during the duration, and effect a motor control action based on the duration and the at least one position.
