IMPACT TOOL WITH TAPERED ANVIL WING DESIGN
An anvil for an impact mechanism, where the anvil includes wings that taper at a taper angle of about 5 degrees to about 30 degrees. The anvil may also include a shaft extending from the wings, and a drive end adapted to transfer and apply torque to a work piece. The wings of the anvil also include wing impact surfaces that receive rotational impact forces from a hammer. For example, the hammer contacts and applies torque to the wings of the anvil.

CHISEL HAMMER
The present disclosure is directed to a power tool adapted to impart axial impacts to a tool bit. The power tool includes a housing, an electric motor, and a barrel. The power tool also includes a reciprocation drive assembly coupled to the electric motor and configured to convert torque from the electric motor to reciprocating motion of a piston that is received within the barrel for reciprocation therein. The power tool further includes a striker received within the barrel for reciprocation in response to reciprocation of the piston, and an anvil received within the barrel between the striker and the tool bit. The anvil is configured to communicate axial impacts to the tool bit in response to reciprocation of the striker. The anvil defines an opening and an inner bore that communicates with the opening, and the inner bore at least partially receives a shank of the tool bit.

Hammer drill and/or chipping hammer (100) having a drive motor (70), an impact mechanism (10) and a tool fitting (50) for fitting a tool (110), wherein the impact mechanism (10) has an anvil (30) that is axially displaceable in an anvil guide (20) and acts on the tool (110), wherein the impact mechanism (10) has an idle-strike damper element (11), which acts between the anvil (30) and the tool fitting (50), and wherein the impact mechanism has a guide housing (80), which engages at least partially around the anvil (30) and/or the tool fitting (50), wherein an additional idle-strike damper element (31) is provided, which acts between the tool fitting (50) and the guide housing (80).
OFFSET IMPACT MECHANISM FOR A HAMMER TOOL
An impact mechanism for an impact tool having a housing with a housing longitudinal axis, wherein the impact mechanism includes an impact mechanism longitudinal axis that is offset and substantially perpendicular to the housing longitudinal axis. The impact mechanism includes a gear carrier adapted to be driven by a motor of the impact tool to rotate about the impact mechanism longitudinal axis, a hammer slidably coupled to the gear carrier and rotatable about the impact mechanism longitudinal axis, the hammer includes a radial surface with a hammer lug extending therefrom, and an intermediate bit adapted to receive impact force from the hammer lug and transfer impact force to a tool bit.

An impact tool (1) includes: a motor (10); an impact mechanism (15), which is rotatable about an output rotational axis (BX) and is driven by the motor; an anvil (16) having an anvil shaft (113) disposed forward of the impact mechanism; and at least one anvil projection (114) protruding radially outward from a rear-end portion of the anvil shaft and configured to be impacted by the impact mechanism in a rotational direction; a hammer case (6) housing the impact mechanism; a main-body housing (2) disposed rearward of, and fixed to, the hammer case; a grip housing (3) having at least a portion disposed rearward of the main-body housing, the grip housing being coupled to the main-body housing so as to be movable relative to the main-body housing; and at least one vibration-isolating member (138, 139) disposed between the main-body housing and the grip housing.
ELECTRIC IMPACT HAMMER
An electric impact hammer includes an output shaft, a cylinder and a piston arranged in the cylinder. The piston defines an accommodating groove running through the rear end surface and a pair of through holes communicating with the accommodating groove and running through the outer periphery, and the front end of the output shaft is inserted in the accommodating groove, and the output shaft defines a corrugated groove on the outer periphery of the front end and a steel ball partially accommodated in the corrugated groove, the corrugated groove is connected end to end along the outer periphery of the output shaft and has an axial front end and an axial rear end; the other part of the steel ball is accommodated in the through hole, and the output shaft drives the piston to reciprocate in the axial direction by means of the steel balls.
PORTABLE POWER TOOL
A portable power tool has a tool holder 2, a motor 8 and an electro-pneumatic striking mechanism 4. The striking mechanism includes an excitation piston 13, a striker 14, a pneumatic chamber 18 for coupling the striker 14 to the excitation piston 13 and an anvil 15 which is arranged in the striking direction 5 downstream of the striker 14 and is provided for transmitting a blow of the striker to the tool. The anvil is hollow. The hollow interior space 23 is closed in the striking direction 5 and counter to the striking direction 5.
HIGH RESOLUTION ANVIL ANGLE SENSOR
A rotary power tool assembly including a hammercase an axis extending between a forward end and a rearward end, a drive mechanism housed within the hammercase, and a hammer driven by the drive mechanism to apply a rotational impact force on an anvil. The anvil includes an output shaft rotatable about the axis, a plurality of anvil jaws extending from the axis, and a flange fixedly connected to an end of the output shaft and extending radially from the axis, wherein the flange supports the plurality of anvil jaws, the flange extending over the plurality of anvil jaws. The anvil includes a magnet attached to the flange opposite to the plurality of anvil jaws. An anvil angle sensor is configured to read and interpret magnetic flux changes of the magnet and determine the position of the anvil rotating about the axis.
IMPACT MECHANISM WITH MULTI-MATERIAL STRIKER
An impact mechanism for use in a power tool having a motor and adapted to impart axial impacts to a tool bit. The impact mechanism includes a piston configured to reciprocate in response to receiving torque from the motor, a striker that is selectively reciprocable within the spindle in response to reciprocation of the piston, and an anvil that is impacted by the striker when the striker reciprocates towards the tool bit. The anvil imparts axial impacts to the tool bit. The striker includes a body portion formed of a first material and an insert portion within the body portion. The insert portion is formed of a second material that is more dense than the first material.
