Rotary Hydraulic Valve
A hydraulic tool can include a hydraulic cylinder, a piston within the hydraulic cylinder, and a rotary valve. The piston can be configured to move between a retracted position and an extended position. The piston can include a piston ram and a piston rod that define a ram side and a rod side inside the hydraulic cylinder. The rotary valve can be moved between a first position and a second position. The first position can be configured to direct flow at a first variable speed and a first variable force to the ram side of the hydraulic cylinder and the second position can be configured to direct flow at a second variable speed and a second variable force to the rod side of the hydraulic cylinder.
Portable in-line hydraulic tool
A portable, hand held hydraulic cutting tool having an in-line handle assembly and a working head assembly. The handle assembly has a tool frame portion and a neck portion. The working head assembly has a pair of jaw members joined so that they are movable relative to each other and held in place by a locking pin. Each jaw member has a cutting blade attached thereto. Each jaw member can be tapered and can include weight reducing pockets defined in respective sidewalls. Each jaw member includes a raised tab on an outside edge that mates with a respective tab notch in a yoke of the neck portion of the handle assembly. When the locking pin is in an extended position, the jaw members of the tool can separate and rotate away from one another until their respective locking tabs engage their respective locking tab opening, connecting the jaw members to the yoke of the neck portion of the handle assembly.
REMOTELY ACTIVATED PORTABLE HAND TOOL
The present disclosure provides hand-held, battery-powered tools for performing operations such as crimping and cutting, and having a remote monitoring and control systems. A frame of the tool supports a working head, a battery, a motor connected to the battery, a controller and a camera.
INSERT FOR A POWER TOOL HOUSING
Inserts disposed in a housing of a pneumatically or hydraulically powered tool having a motor adapted to rotate a drive lug in either of first and second rotational directions. The insert is composed of a material resistive to creep and/or stress relaxation. The insert contacts fasteners applying a clamping force to the tool and remove the housing from the load path of the clamping force, thereby reducing the possibility of fluid leaks.
HYDRAULIC UNIT FOR HYDRAULIC RESCUE TOOLS, AND RESCUE TOOL EQUIPPED THEREWITH
A portable, battery-powered hydraulic unit for hydraulic rescue tools, in particular for spreading or cutting tools, as well as a rescue tool equipped therewith, are disclosed. The hydraulic unit includes at least one hydraulic pump, a hydraulic tank, a compensation device for hydraulic fluid, a manually operated hydraulic control valve, an electromechanical interface for on-demand coupling and decoupling of at least one battery pack, a mechanical-hydraulic interface for connecting a hydraulic tool, and an electric motor operable by the electrical energy of the battery pack for driving the hydraulic pump. The electric motor is formed by a disc-shaped motor whose axial length extending in parallel to the longitudinal axis of its output shaft is shorter than its outer diameter.
Method for operating a working device, and working device
A device and method for operating a motor-actuated working device is provided. A certain working operation requires a rise in an applied force to a certain working force. The device enables a rise in the force to a general working force that exceeds the certain working force and an apparatus is provided for monitoring the device value. For the certain working operation, an evaluation is performed to detect the characteristic change and that the attainment of the characteristic change is used as a signal for ending the certain working operation after the certain working force has been attained but before the general working force has been attained.
Reversing mechanism for a power tool
A reversing mechanism for a pneumatically or hydraulically powered tool having a rotor adapted to selectively rotate in either one of first and second rotational directions. The reversing mechanism allows a user to actuate a button that rotates a valve to direct air flow through the tool. By pressing the button, the button will move a base laterally, and in doing so, rotates the valve. Rotating the valve distributes fluid to cause the rotor to rotate in a selected rotational direction.
RING REMOVAL APPARATUS
A ring removal apparatus configured to remove a ring from a finger utilizing a first technique or a second technique. The first technique employs cutting the ring while the second technique utilizes elements to distort the shape of the ring achieve removal. The ring removal apparatus includes a cutting assembly wherein the cutting assembly has a void centrally located therein and an opening thereto. The void has a first blade member and a second blade member on opposing sides thereof. The first blade member includes a ring protrusion member operably secured thereto and in axial alignment with the first blade member. The second blade member is movable in a forwards-backwards motion and is moved via a hydraulic assembly. The hydraulic assembly includes a conventional hydraulic cylinder that is operated via an operational lever so as to provide the movement of the second blade member.
HYDRAULIC ACTUATION DEVICE
A hydraulic actuation device includes a tool, an actuation part having a pressure oil supply mechanism configured to send pressure oil from an oil chamber to the tool and return return oil from the tool to the oil chamber, an operation handle for adjusting oil passages for the pressure oil and the return oil in the pressure oil supply mechanism and configured to be able to be moved from an initial position, and biasing means configured to bias the operation handle toward the initial position when no external force is applied to the operation handle. When the operation handle moves from the initial position, the tool is actuated by the actuation part. When the operation handle is returned to the initial position by the biasing means, operation of the tool by the actuation part is stopped.
Portable hydraulic power tool
A hydraulic power tool is provided including a rivet squeezer comprising two opposing surfaces, a hydraulic cylinder configured to move the surfaces between an open position and a compressed position, a hydraulic pump configured to provide hydraulic pressure to actuate the hydraulic cylinder in a first direction, and an air tank configured to provide pneumatic pressure to actuate the hydraulic cylinder in a second direction. Actuation of the hydraulic cylinder in the first direction causes the surfaces to move from the open position to the compressed position and actuation of the hydraulic cylinder in the second direction causes the surfaces to move from the compressed position to the open position.
