Rotating handle and related methods
Rotatable handles and related methods are disclosed herein. In one form, the handle has a clip member that fits around a cylindrical object and a handle. The clip member includes a track that guides rotation of the handle about a longitudinal axis of the cylindrical object. The handle includes an actuator that operates a braking member which comprises a braking surface that is movable into and out of contact with the track. When the braking surface is out of contact the track, the handle is movable relative to the track when permitting the handle to rotate about a longitudinal axis of the cylindrical object. Rotating the handle about the longitudinal axis of the handle operates the actuator, causing the braking surface to move into and out of contact with the track. Various methods are also disclosed herein with respect to the rotatable handle.
Quick-release structure capable of storing rotating handle
A quick-release structure includes a shaft and a driving assembly. Two ends of the shaft have a receiving hole and a connecting hole, respectively. The driving assembly includes a rotating handle and a connecting rod. One end of the rotating handle is provided with an end cap. The connecting rod includes a pivoting end and a driving section. The rotating handle is pivotally connected to the pivoting end of the connecting rod so that the rotating handle can be pivoted relative to one side of the connecting rod. When in use, the driving section is engaged in the connecting hole, and the rotating handle can be turned to drive the shaft to rotate; when not in use, the driving assembly is inserted into the receiving hole, and the end cap is pressed against an outer end of the receiving hole to be positioned.
RATCHET WRENCH HAVING FLEXIBLE POSITONING STRUCTURE
A ratchet wrench having a flexible positioning structure includes a drive bar, a rotary head, and a locking button. The drive bar includes a fork arm, an axial hole, and a radial hole communicating with the axial hole. The rotary head is pivotally connected to the fork arm; the rotary head includes a round housing, a plurality of positioning recesses disposed on the round housing, and a pivot axis passing through the rotary head and two ends of the fork arm. The pivot axis is perpendicular to the radial hole. The locking button includes a flexible fastener inserted through the radial hole and a latch bar disposed in the axial hole. The flexible fastener is flexibly movable in association with movement of the latch bar, so that the latch bar is engaged with or released from any of the positioning recesses.
Ratchet wrench capable of rotating quickly and driving rotation
A ratchet wrench capable of rotating quickly and driving rotation includes a handle, a rotary head, a positioning mechanism, and a sleeve. The handle includes an arm and a bar body. The bar body includes an accommodating slot; the arm includes a through hole. The rotary head is connected to the arm and includes recess portions. The positioning mechanism includes a positioning element, a resilient body, and a block element. The resilient body receives the positioning element and is received in the through hole, the positioning element is correspondingly disposed in any of the recess portions, and the block element is connected to the positioning element. The sleeve receives the bar body and operably drives the block element to slide in the accommodating slot, so that the positioning element is positioned and selectively engaged with any recess portion.
Tool for securing a clamp
A tool and method of securing a clamp is provided. The tool includes a first handle having a first jaw portion on one end. An arm is pivotally coupled to the first handle, the having a second jaw portion on one end. A second handle is adjacent the first handle. A force adjustment mechanism is rotatably coupled between the arm and the second handle. The force adjustment mechanism has a biasing member operably coupled between the arm and an adjustment member, the force adjustment mechanism further having at least one bearing member disposed between the arm and the adjustment member. The second handle is arranged to rotate relative to the arm based at least in part on a force applied on the second handle by the biasing member via the at least one bearing member.
GRIPPING HANDLE FOR A SURGICAL TOOL, AND METHOD AND MACHINE FOR PRODUCING SUCH A GRIPPING HANDLE
The invention concerns a gripping handle (1) comprising: a main body (3), a receiving orifice (4) formed within the main body (3) for receiving a sliding removable working bit (2), a blocking lever (14) rotatably mounted on the main body (3) between: a blocking orientation in which it blocks the sliding of the working bit (2), a release orientation in which it enables the sliding of the working bit (2), an elastic pivot (15, 16) designed to bring, by itself, the blocking lever (14) back in the blocking orientation, the gripping handle (1) being characterized in that the main body (3), the blocking lever (14) and the elastic pivot (15, 16) are integral with each other.
Surgical instrumentation.
Two-position driver
A driver with two operating positions has a handle with a first shell and a second shell connected that can open with respect to each other. Attached to one of the handle portions is a working end that is configured to rotate substantially, generally ninety degrees between a first position with a working end extending along an axis that is longitudinal with the handle and a second position with the working end extending along an axis that is transverse to the handle.
Locking clutch ratchet wrenches
A locking clutch ratchet wrench (1) is configured such that a clutch ring (500) forms the mid part of aminate like structure. Under torque applying conditions, the compression forces applied to the clutch ring (500) are substantially dissipated around the circumference (507) of the clutch ring. This inwardly directed force clamp against the inherently strong outer surface 405 of the drive element (400). The resultant pseudo laminate structure of the drive element (400), clutch (500) and housing (201, 202) enables the construction of a proportionately stronger ratchet wrench of reduced height or width.
Locking Indexing Tool
An indexing tool includes a head selectively rotatably coupled to a handle. A toothed portion of the head communicates with a toothed portion of a catch within the handle. The catch generally moves along an axis of the handle and is biased towards the toothed portion of the head by a bias disposed within a switch within a portion of the handle. The switch is rotatable generally about a central axis, which repositions the bias with respect to the catch, thus firmly orientating the switch in a variety of desirable positions. The switch position alternatively allows the catch to move generally along the central axis of the handle allowing the head to rotate about the couple, or blocks movement of the catch, thus preventing the head from rotating relative to the handle.
Bolt Cutter
A cutter including a cutting head and an adjustable handle pivotally coupled to the cutting head. The adjustable handle includes a first adjustment assembly to change a length the adjustable handle extends from the cutting head. The adjustable handle also includes a second adjustment assembly to change the position of the adjustable handle with respect to the cutting head.
