ADD-ON ELEMENT FOR A PERFORATED PLATE
An add-on element for a perforated plate having throughbores arranged in a regular grid includes an attachment part having a throughbore, an extension part, and a connecting element configured to secure the attachment part to an underside of the perforated plate by passing through a respective one of the throughbores of the perforated plate and the throughbore in the attachment part.
A GATE HOLDING DEVICE AND METHOD
A gate holding device for holding an agricultural gate (1) during installation is disclosed. The device (7, 57, 207) takes the form of an elongate attachment member defining a first axis and having a first hinge member (20, 70, 270) connected thereto adjacent a lower end of said attachment member, an elongate foot piece (8, 58, 208) defining a second axis substantially perpendicular to the first axis and having a second hinge member (21, 71, 121) connected to the foot piece intermediate the ends thereof and perpendicular to the second axis, the first and second hinge members being connected together to permit rotation of the foot piece relative to said attachment member between an initial position where the foot piece is substantially parallel to the gate and a final position in which the foot piece is substantially perpendicular to the gate. Preferably a pair of such devices is used. A method is also disclosed.
CNC system and apparatus
A system and apparatus for Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines wherein a workpiece is maneuvered about a working surface.
Accessible temporary magnet control for magnetic drill press
A drill press includes a main housing, a base coupled to the main housing and having an electromagnet, a drill unit supported by the main housing for relative movement therewith, a first switch selectively electrically connecting the electromagnet to a power source to energize the electromagnet, and a second switch for selectively interrupting power to the electromagnet.
Tire change tool
A tire change tool comprising a generally circular and planar faceplate having a hub side and a user side, the hub side and user side being generally parallel; an upper elbow flexibly connected to the faceplate by an interface; an arm connected to the upper elbow at a first end, and connected to a lower elbow at a lower end; and a footplate flexibly connected to the lower end of the arm by the lower elbow, wherein the faceplate and the interface comprise co-aligned apertures, the co-aligned apertures having an axis perpendicular to the plane of the faceplate. A length adjustment mechanism may be incorporated into the arm and adapted to permit the arm's length to be changed. The arm may include an upper section and a lower section adjustable connected by an adjustment mechanism adapted to permit the arm's length to be changed.
Power Tool Ski System and Method
A power tool accessory for elevating the base of a power tool from off a work surface and a method of use. The accessory or ski comprises a bridge, a first side wall coupled to the bridge, and a second side wall coupled to the bridge opposite the first side wall. The bridge, the first side wall, and the second side wall form an upper surface and an opening through which a power cord may pass. The upper surface is configured to receive a base of a power tool. Because the ski elevated the power tool from off of a work surface, dust, debris, and grit is not brought into the intake of the power tool, the power cord is not kinked, and the base of the power tool is not worn down on the work surface.
Hole-making system
A hole-making system for making holes on the collar of a cylinder is provided. The hole making system includes a hand unit for making holes on the collar of the cylinder and the hand unit being configured to be used with two hands. The hole making system further includes a control unit configured to control operation of the hand unit. The hole making system further includes a pedal configured to enable a user to control the operation of the hand unit with a foot. The hand unit is held and controlled with two hands and a drilling command is provided by the pedal, allowing the user to control the hand unit in a more reliable manner.
Router
A router includes a motor assembly that is arranged and configured to hold a router tool and to impart rotation to the router tool and a frame that is fixed in size and that is configured to house the motor assembly.
Tool Arm Mount for Aerial Work Platform
A tool arm mount couples a tool arm to an aerial work platform. The tool arm mount includes a first mounting hook that hangs on a first rail of the aerial work platform and a second mounting hook that hangs on a second rail of the aerial work platform. The first mounting hook defines a first channel in which the first rail is received, and the second mounting hook defines a second channel in which the second rail is received. The first and second mounting hooks are coupled to a spine of the tool arm mount. The tool arm mount also includes a first lock that locks the first mounting hook to the first rail.
Railway Clip Positioning, Setting, and Insertion System
A clip insertion system is disclosed inserting and/or removing clips from rail plates. The clip insertion system described herein may comprise a hand tool that positions and inserts a clip into a rail plate that is attached to the railroad tie. The clip secures the steel rail to the tie. This invention represents a significant improvement over existing clip setting hand tools by improving useability, reducing safety risks, and increasing efficiency in the process/method of securing the rail using clips and/or other clip-based technologies. This system also provides and improved method of moving and positioning the tool as it is moved to successive clip insertion locations.
