Drill stand
A core drill includes a housing and a battery pack attachable to the housing for powering the core drill. The core drill is configured to be operated while being carried on a drill stand. The core drill is configured to be operated independently of and detached from the drill stand. The core drill is configured to be carried by an operator's hand while the core drill is not being carried on the drill stand.
Tool driving device, tool feeding mechanism for tool rotating unit and hole processing method
According to one implementation, a tool feeding mechanism for a handheld tool rotating device, having a holder and a first air motor, includes a coupler, a fixing member, a moving mechanism and a second air motor. The holder chucks and holds a rotating tool. The first air motor rotates the holder. The tool feeding mechanism is attached to the tool rotating device. The coupler is attached to the tool rotating device. The fixing member is attached directly or indirectly to a workpiece of hole processing using the rotating tool. The moving mechanism moves the coupler relatively to the fixing member in a tool axis direction. The second air motor powers the moving mechanism.
CORING DEVICE FOR CUTTING HOLES THROUGH A STRUCTURE
A coring unit comprises a clamping arrangement for releasably attaching the coring unit to a structure into which a core is to be cut. A bit is provided comprising an elongated tubular body having a cutting surface at a first circular end of the elongated tubular body for cutting the core. The unit includes a drive system adapted to rotate and linearly translate the bit so that the drive system rotates the bit and moves the bit with respect to the clamping arrangement to advance and retreat the bit through the structure to cut the core from the structure. A method of using the coring unit is also described. The unit and method permit an accurate, reliable, safe, and reproducible cutting of a hole in a structure. The unit and method find particular application in cutting holes in studs of wood frame structures to accommodate services such as wires and piping.
Drill stand
A drill stand comprises a base, a mast defining a longitudinal axis and pivotably coupled to the base, a support bracket moveably coupled to the mast and pivotably coupled to the base, and a carriage moveably coupled to the mast. The carriage is configured to selectively receive a drill and is selectively removable from the mast in a tool-free manner.
Drill Holder
A drill holder includes a base, an elongate support member extending substantially perpendicularly from the base, and an arm mounted to the support member. The arm extends substantially perpendicularly from the support member and is free to slide along at least a portion of the support member. The arm includes holding means for holding a drill and a weight.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING ALIGNED HOLES IN A WORK PIECE
A novel drill jig includes an edge alignment guide, a hole-spacing assembly, a second guide, a biasing member, and an actuator. The edge alignment guide is configured to abut an edge of a workpiece to facilitate movement of the workpiece along a first straight line. The hole-spacing assembly includes a protrusion disposed to engage a preexisting hole in a workpiece positioned by the edge alignment guide. The second guide is coupled to the hole-spacing assembly and is configured to facilitate movement of the hole-spacing assembly along a second straight line perpendicular to the first straight line. The first biasing member is coupled to the hole-spacing assembly and is operative to exert a force on the hole-spacing assembly in a direction parallel to the second straight line. An actuator moves the hole-spacing assembly along the second straight line via the first biasing member.
