Modular apparatus and elements thereof
The present system is directed to a modular apparatus that may be assembled and disassembled repeatedly without the use of tools. The modular system includes connectors that may be fixed to the underside of a plank and then engaged with leg portions. The connectors further include channels to accommodate retention members of additional attachments, such as covers, guards, signage, or racks that may be added onto the modular apparatus to increase its utility. The retention members mate with the connectors to connect and securely hold the attachment and can be removed from the connectors all without the need for tools.

The workbench is manipulable between an operative position in which the support legs are detachably attached at leg mounts configured at the bottom face of the workbench, and a stowed position in which the support legs are detached from the leg mounts and are stowed within leg receptacles. At the stowed position the support legs are fully received within receiving receptacles configured at the utility member and do not project from the utility member.

An weld training system includes a display, a camera, a communications device, and a welding helmet. The communications device communicates with welding equipment. The welding helmet has a view port. The communications device is configured to hold the camera, the communications device, and the display such that, when the welding helmet is worn by a wearer, the display is viewable by the wearer, the camera has a view through the view port such that the display displays to the wearer images taken by the camera through the view port and displays a simulated object generated based on information received from the welding equipment via the communications device.
