A wheeled storage container apparatus for storing and transporting tools and equipment includes a body having a body back side with a drop lip portion extending down from proximal a body top side and defining a catch cavity to hook onto a railing. A lid is coupled to a body front side to selectively cover or expose the body top side. A pair of wheels is coupled to the body. A tray has a tray rim selectively engageable with the body top side and a plurality of tray compartments extending down into the body inside. A locking arm has a pivot portion pivotably coupled to the drop lip portion of the body back side, an arm portion extending from the pivot portion, and a catch portion extending from the arm portion. The catch portion is selectively engageable with the lid to maintain the lid in a closed position.

A tool holding system including a first tool holding mechanism. The first tool holding mechanism includes at least one first cavity, at least one second cavity, and a magnetic strip interposed between the at least one first cavity and the at least one second cavity. The first tool holding mechanism is coupled to a surface of the tool holding system.

A custom tool accessory to hold a tool, the custom tool accessory including a body, at least one tongue disposed at a first side of the body, at least one tongue receiving groove disposed at a second side of the body opposite from the first side of the body, and a tool holding portion disposed on the body to hold the tool. At least one magnet is attached to the underside of a metallic base plate that is in turn secured to the underside of the body. A retainer surrounds the at least one magnet and also underlies the area of the bottom of the base plate that is not covered by the at least one magnet.

The present disclosure is a modular accessory that is compatible with a first storage component that has first mount interfaces, and a second storage component that is different from the first storage component that has second mount interfaces. The modular accessory includes a structure and an accessory mount. The structure is configured to hold or support one or more objects. The accessory mount is coupled to the structure and defines an accessory mount interface. The accessory mount interface is configured to engage one or more first mount interfaces and one or more of the second mount interfaces.

A storage device (10) including a circumferential wall (24) that extends along a longitudinal axis (A-A) from an open first end (24.sub.P) to a second end (24.sub.D) and circumscribes an internal chamber (40) configured to receive a respective axial portion (202) of a tool (200). The storage device further includes a tool tray (12) that radially extends outward from an axial center of the internal chamber to the circumferential wall. The tool tray includes a top surface (22) configured to support a respective head portion (204) of each tool (200) and one or more troughs (26) formed through the top surface and a bottom surface of the tool tray. Each trough defines a respective width sufficient to prevent passage of the respective head portion through the trough and permit passage of the respective axial portion through the trough when the respective head portion is supported by the top surface.

A carrying case for a power tool and a power tool kit are provided. A carrying case for a power tool includes an interior volume defined by a top, a bottom, a front, a back, a first side, and a second side. The carrying case further includes a plurality of distinct compartments within the interior volume. The distinct compartments are configured to receive a battery-powered power tool, a battery configured to power the battery-powered power tool, and a battery charger for the battery, respectively. The carrying case further includes a battery receiver configured for locking engagement with the battery, wherein the battery receiver is formed on an interior surface of at least one of the front, back, first side, or second side.

A tool storage device system includes a base and a tool storage container removably coupled to the base. The tool storage container slides in a first direction relative to the base to attach the tool storage container to the base, and the tool storage container slides in a second direction, opposite the first direction, relative to the base to remove the tool storage container from the base.

A belt mountable holder and methods of making and using a belt mountable holder including an arcuate member suspendable from a belt disposed about the waist of a wearer and having mateable fasteners disposed on an exterior face of the arcuate member to releasably couple one or more containers to carry articles or tool retainers to retain tools and optionally including a holder support to transfer a holder weight normally applied to the waist of a wearer to a ground engaging surface to remove weight bearing stress from the wearer's waist.

Systems for cutting stored materials and for storing elongated and flexible supplies are disclosed. According to an aspect, a system includes a sled comprising a body that defines a plurality of compartments for holding objects. Example objects include, but are not limited to, tools, supplies, tape, electronic devices, zip ties, spools of supplies or materials, and keys. The body further defines a channel that extends between one of the compartments and an opening. The system also includes a cutting mechanism positioned adjacent the channel and configured to cut and/or tear a material stored within the one of the compartments.

A tool storage device system includes a base and a tool storage container removably coupled to the base. The tool storage container slides in a first direction relative to the base to attach the tool storage container to the base, and the tool storage container slides in a second direction, opposite the first direction, relative to the base to remove the tool storage container from the base.
