Method and device for picking goods
A method for picking objects is specified, in which at least one object is removed from a source loading aid and placed into a target loading aid using a robot. After the operation of removing the object, a first sensor system of the robot is used to check whether at least one object is held by the robot. A number and/or a type of the at least one removed object is ascertained using the second sensor system. The operation of placing the at least one object into the target loading aid is aborted or modified if no object is held by the robot or the number and/or the type of the at least one removed object does not contribute to completing the picking order, which defines a desired number and/or desired type of objects in the target loading aid. Furthermore, a device and a computer program product for performing the presented method is specified.
Easy collaborative tool changer
A connector (70) for mechanically connecting a device (2) to a robot (20), wherein the connector (70) comprises a first portion (74) configured to be attached to the robot (20) and a second portion (76) configured to be attached to a device (2) configured to be connected to the robot (20). The first portion (74) and the second portion (76) are detachably attached to each other by a first connection portion (1) constituting a rotational system comprising a pivot (116) about which the first portion (74) can rotate with respect to the second portion (76) and a second connection portion (1′) constituting a mechanical locking structure that prevents the first portion (74) and the second portion (76) from being detached from each other.
ROBOTIC SURGERY SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS OF USE
Described here are systems, devices, and methods useful for minimally invasive surgical procedures performed by a single operator. Methods of performing magnetic laparoscopic robotic surgery may comprise coupling an end effector to a support arm within a sterile field using an end effector connector, controlling the end effector within a body cavity of a patient, and decoupling the end effector from the support arm within the sterile field using the end effector connector. Coupling, controlling, and decoupling may all be capable of being performed by a single operator.
Isolating robotic actuators from food and beverage preparation
Provided is a device, comprising: a barrier configured to impeded or prevent particles shed by a robot in a first volume of space from entering a second volume of space in which the robot manipulates a workpiece; and a robot having three or more degrees of freedom, the robot comprising: a first portion disposed on a first side of the barrier in the first volume, the first portion comprising an actuator of the robot, the actuator being configured to drive movement of the robot to manipulate the workpiece; and a second portion disposed on a second side of the barrier in the second volume, the second portion comprising an end-effector of the robot by which the robot makes contact with the workpiece.
ADHESIVE BASED GRIPPING OF OBJECTS
The present invention relates to a robotic maneuvering system for maneuvering objects by means of an adhesive attachment. The robotic maneuvering system comprises a gripper finger connected to a gripper arm. The gripper finger is configured to grasp an object to be manipulated, by means of an adhesive contact. The gripper arm maneuvers the object to a desired location and the gripper finger releases the object at the desired location. The present invention also relates to a corresponding method.
Reducing cost and size of food and beverage preparation robots
Provided is an alimentary-product assembling and dispensing device comprising: a plurality of alimentary-ingredient dispensers positioned to dispense respective ingredients in a plurality of different locations of a robotic work environment; a robot configured to receive an open-top vessel from an open-top-vessel dispenser and move the open-top vessel to the different locations to receive different ingredients from the plurality of alimentary-ingredient dispensers, wherein the robot comprises four or fewer degrees of freedom; and a vending aperture through which consumers retrieve vended alimentary products assembled by the robot from ingredients dispensed from the plurality of alimentary-ingredient dispensers.
Tool changing system of robot manipulator
A tool changing system of a robot manipulator is proposed. The tool changing system includes: a master coupled to an end of the robot manipulator at a first side thereof; and a slave coupled to a tool at a first side thereof and coupled removably to a second side of the master at a second side thereof, wherein the master includes an actuator and a master magnet rotating according to the rotation of the actuator, and the slave includes a slave magnet rotating in synchronization with the rotation of the master magnet by magnetism therebetween with the master and the slave coupled to each other, whereby the rotating force of the slave magnet as a rotating force necessary for operating the tool is transmitted to the tool.
GRIPPER SNORKEL ARRANGEMENT
A gripper snorkel arrangement, configured for use on gripper unit of a robotic arm is disclosed. The gripper snorkel arrangement comprises an interface plate and a snorkel, wherein the interface plate is provided with at least one hole in fluid communication with an inner lumen of the snorkel. Further to this, a gripper assembly and a method for selectively removing misplaced packaging containers is presented.
PUSHER ARRANGEMENT
A pusher assembly configured to remove one or more misplaced packaging containers is presented. The pusher assembly comprises a gripper unit comprising at least one vacuum suction cup. The gripper unit is connected to the robotic arm. The pusher assembly further comprises a pusher arrangement comprising an interface plate, one or more extension means and a pusher plate. The pusher plate is arranged distanced from the interface plate by said one or more extension means. The interface plate is releasably attached to the gripper unit by means of said at least one vacuum suction cup. A pusher arrangement and an associated method are also detailed.
Systems and methods for automatically changing an end-effector on a surgical robot
Devices, systems, and methods for automatically exchanging a first end-effector on a robot arm with a second end-effector housed in a docking station. The first end-effector has a clamp that either engages or disengages the robot arm based upon an application of force of the robot arm onto the end-effector. The clamp has a spring loaded clip that disengages the first end-effector to allow the robot arm to move away from the released first end-effector. The robot arm is configured to automatically move to a port of a docking station housing the desired second end-effector using magnetic coils on the robot arm and the docking station to guide the robot arm.
