A barbecue utensil having at least one tool which can be stowed in a housing, wherein preferably at least one tool is designed in the form of a foldable turner. A plurality of tools such as, for example, barbecue tongs, a bread knife and/or a fork can be combined with one another.

A tool is provided in order to facilitate utilization by users in a wide variety of applications. By way of example, a multipurpose tool may include first and second handles configured for relative movement between a closed position and an open position. At least the first handle includes an axle extending thereacross. The multipurpose tool also includes one or more tool members rotatably mounted upon the axle and foldable into the first handle and first and second jaws rotatably connected to the first and second handles, respectively. At least the first jaw defines an opening through which the axle of the first handle extends. The multipurpose tool further includes a resilient member disposed at least partially within the opening in order to apply a bias force to the first jaw during rotation of the first jaw relative to the first handle.

An outdoor tool with multiple functions may comprise a handle, a spring clip, a blade, a cover and a flint rod. When the blade is in a folded position, it is coupled with the spring clip, and an actuating segment of the spring clip can tightly clamp the blade. Furthermore, when blade is in a deployed position, a mounting piece of the blade is mounted on a mounting hole of the spring clip thereby improving the structural stableness. In addition to cutting objects, the outdoor tool also can be used for whistling, starting a fire, opening a bottle, scraping fish scale, sharpening a knife thereby improving the practicability.

The multifunctional pocket knife (1) is composed of a handle (2) formed by two joined-together flanks (3, 3′) that provide at least one stowage space (4) for tools that each pivot about link pins (5, 5′) arranged at each end of the handle (2). It is characterized in that it comprises a planar tick-removal instrument (6) that pivots about one of said link pins (5, 5′) and that extends along the longitudinal axis of the pocket knife. A tool is provided that includes unitary plate that includes a blade portion and a tang portion. The blade portion can include an edge. The tang portion can include a positioning hole, a first hole, a slot, a second hole, a rivet hole, and one or more teeth (also referred to as one or more barbs) on a side of the tang portion. The tool can further include a hilt member which includes a through passage, a tab, and a notch. The tool includes an overlay on a body to create a handle for gripping the tool. The tool further includes a hammerhead cap on an end of the body, the hammerhead cap is coupled to the handle with a rivet through the rivet hole.

A combination pocket device (FIG. 8) is provided for holding a knife blade that pivots between a closed position where it lives inside the body of the device, and an extended position where it extends co-linear with the body in a locked state. The blade is held in position by a lock-back mechanism. The keys are held together by a bolt on one side of the blade and lives inside the body as well. The keys fold in opposite position of the blade, into one organized and compact unit.

Provided is a tool that includes a handle assembly including a top portion and a bottom portion. The tool also includes a lock plate disposed between the top and bottom portions and having a deflectable arm having a free end biased towards the top portion, a fixed end opposite the free end, an inner edge, an outer edge, and a detent near the free end and the inner edge. The tool additionally includes a blade having first and second ends, an indent in a bottom surface of the blade near the first end for engaging the detent in a closed position, and a ramp on the bottom surface near the indent defining a reduced thickness portion of the blade that reduces in thickness from the indent towards an edge of the blade to reduce contact between the detent and the blade during rotation of the blade.

An electronic key fob includes a housing defining a recess, a communication system disposed in the housing and having a transceiver and power source that provides power to the transceiver, at least one button disposed in the housing, a tool disposed in the recess of the housing and moveable between a retracted position and an extended position, and a tool lock mechanism. The button is electrically connected to the transceiver. The tool lock mechanism is configured to move between a lock position in which the tool is locked in the retracted position and an unlock position in which the tool can move between the retracted extended position.
