CUTTING TOOL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
A cutting tool includes first and second blades attached to each other by a joint, and first and second handles. A first inlay having a protruding end protrudes into a hole in the first blade. A shaft has a first end joined to the protruding end of the first inlay, and has a second end with at least one transverse shoulder. A second inlay has a protruding end protruding into a hole in the second blade and a hole receives the second end of the shaft, and an engaging surface engages with the shoulder of the shaft. The hole of the second inlay has a shape and width allowing the second end of the shaft with the shoulder to pass into the hole in a release position, but prevents the shaft and shoulder from passing through the hole when the shaft and second inlay are not in the release position.
Cygnus Medical LLC
In one or more embodiments a system of foldable shears is provided, comprising a pair of shearing blades, each blade having a sharp side and a blunt side. The blades are connected to handles via a hinge, and the handles have one side that is straighter and another side that is more rounded or irregularly shaped. One of the blades includes a backward facing hook on the blade's blunt side. Additionally, the blunt side may have partially sharpened serrations or other features. The blades can fold about the hinge for easier transport and storage and the shears are configured so that the hook does not extend past the handles when folded to prevent catching the hook on anything or damaging any nearby equipment.

Blade change mechanism for power tool
A blade replacement apparatus of an electric instrument is provided. The blade replacement apparatus includes a nut, a nut loosening/tightening member, a locking member, and an operating member. One of the nut loosening/tightening member and the operating member has a first matching portion, the locking member having a second matching portion. The operating member is movable between an operating position and a non-operating position. When the operating member is in the non-operating position, the first matching portion engages with the second matching portion, and the rotation of the nut loosening/tightening member is obstructed by the locking member. When the operating member is in the operating position, the first matching portion is disengaged from the second matching portion, and the rotation of the nut loosening/tightening member tightens or loosens the nut.
