Electric beard trimmer
A cutter system for an electric shaver and/or trimmer, having a pair of cooperating cutting elements with two rows of comb-like cutting teeth at opposite edges thereof and at least one field of cutting perforations between the rows of comb-like cutting teeth. The cutting elements are movably supported relative to each other by a support structure with an inner one of the cutting elements being sandwiched between an outer one the cutting element and the support structure. The support structure includes a pair of outer frame portions and a pair of inner frame portions supporting the inner cutting element. The inner frame portions form rigid support ribs extending from a base portion of the support structure at a steeper angle than the outer frame portions and forming rigid support edges supporting the inner cutting element along the outer edge of the field of cutting perforations.
Hair Clipper with Tapered Radial Handle
A haircutter handle has upper and lower housings. The upper housing and lower housing join to form a circumvoluted and/or spiraled exterior surface. The handle narrows and extends axially from a blade end to a handle or gripping end. The blade has an upper blade that oscillates over the lower blade to cut hair. The handle has a reduction taper that facilitates gripping and/or handling the handle. The taper also orients the motor and battery so that the center of gravity is positioned within the palm of the user's hand when gripping the handle. The blade end of the handle has a width and/or height that are greater than a width and/or height at the handle end. The reduction in height and/or width dimensions define a taper. In some embodiments, the width tapers more than the height tapers to facilitate gripping the handle about the center of gravity.

HAIR CLIPPING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a hair clipping device (10) which comprises a housing (14), a cutting assembly (16) including a stationary cutting blade (32) and a moveable cutting blade (34), a drive arrangement (42) for driving the moveable cutting blade (34) relative to the stationary cutting blade (32) in an oscillatory movement along a first axis (40), a comb support element (45) for removably attaching a comb attachment (12) with a plurality of comb teeth (50), and an adjustment unit (58) for adjusting the position of the comb attachment (12) relative to the cutting assembly (16), when the comb attachment (12) is attached to the comb support element (45), wherein the adjustment unit (58) is configured to increase a distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) during an extension movement of the adjustment unit (58), and to decrease the distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) during a retraction movement of the adjustment unit (58). The hair clipping device (10) further comprises an end stop element (74) which is configured to prevent a movement of the comb attachment (12) towards the cutting assembly (16) during the retraction movement when a minimal distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) is reached by contacting the comb support element (45). The end stop element (74) is further configured to cause a coupling of the adjustment unit (58) with one of the stationary cutting blade (32) and the moveable cutting blade (34) if the retraction movement of the adjustment unit (58) is continued after the minimal distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) is reached after a contact of the end stop element (74) with the comb support element (45). Said coupling enables an adjustment of the position of the moveable cutting blade (34) relative to the stationary cutting blade (32) along a second axis (56) transverse to the first axis (40) by means of the adjustment unit (58).

Hair Clipper with Tapered Radial Handle
A haircutter handle is described that has upper and lower housings. The upper housing and lower housing join to form a circumvoluted and/or spiraled exterior surface. The handle narrows and extends axially from a blade end to a handle or gripping end opposite the blade. The blade has a cutter or upper blade that oscillated over the lower blade to cut hair. The handle has a reduction taper that facilitates gripping and/or handling the handle. The taper also orients the motor and battery so that the center of gravity is positioned within the palm of the user's hand when gripping the handle. The blade end of the handle has a width and/or height greater that are than a width and/or height at the handle end. The reduction in height and/or width dimensions define a taper. In some embodiments, the width tapers more than the height tapers to facilitate gripping handle about the center of gravity.

Hair Clipper with Tapered Rectangular Handle
A haircutter handle is described that has upper and lower housings. The upper housing and lower housing join to form a pliable exterior surface. The handle narrows/tapers as it extends axially from a blade end to a gripping end opposite the blade. The blade has an upper oscillatory blade that oscillates over a stationary lower blade to cut hair. The handle's taper facilitates grasping by locating the motor and battery so that the center of gravity is located within the palm of the user's hand. The width and/or height at the blade end is greater than at the handle or grip end, and the reduction in height and/or width dimensions define the taper to locate the user's hand relative to the center of gravity. In some embodiments, the width tapers more than the height tapers to facilitate gripping handle about the center of gravity.
