Trimmer device with an adjustable cutting assembly
An electric-powered trimmer with a handle. A battery pack positioned in the handle. An electrical circuit positioned in the handle and electrically connected with the battery pack. The electrical circuit including a motor having a drive shaft, and a cutting assembly removeably coupled to the handle. The handle extends along a longitudinal axis and has an inner wall that defines a receptacle in a longitudinal end. The battery pack is configured to rotate about the longitudinal axis relative to the handle between (i) a first position in which the battery pack is secured within the receptacle of the handle and (ii) a second position in which the battery pack is configured to be removed from the receptacle of the handle. A plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) positioned in the inner wall of the handle. The inner wall includes a transparent section that covers the plurality of LEDs.
Blade assembly having entrapped spring
A blade assembly for a hair cutting apparatus includes a first blade having teeth extending along a first blade edge, and a second blade having teeth extending along a second blade edge. A distance between the first and second blade edges defines a blade gap. A yoke is coupled to the second blade and configured to convert motion of a drive into reciprocation of the second blade relative to the first blade to cut hair. A spring includes a spring base and at least one spring arm configured to reciprocate with the second blade. A guide assembly includes a guide and a spring retainer, the guide being positioned between the first blade and the second blade, and the spring retainer fixing the spring base relative to the first blade, wherein in response to moving the guide relative to the first blade, the blade gap changes.
Adjustable blade assembly having magnetic tensioning
A hair clipper or cutter is provided with an adjustment slider that adjusts the gap between an inner and outer blade. A yoke is attached to the inner blade. The adjustment slider may be configured with preset gap lengths and may be adjustable before, after, or during a hair cutting operation. A T-guide couples the adjustment slider to the inner blade to slidably move the inner blade relative to the outer blade. The yoke, inner blade, outer blade and/or T-guide may be magnetized to create an attractive or repulsive force between the inner blade and the outer blade.
HAIR REMOVAL DEVICE
The present invention relates to a hair removal device, in particular a hair trimmer or a shaver or a hair trimmer portion of a shaver, comprising a handle with a motor and a hair removal head, said hair removal head being provided with at least a first hair cutting unit with an outer blade and an inner blade, said inner blade being reciprocally moveable along a first axis relative to the outer blade, wherein said outer blade comprises a row of teeth cooperating with said inner blade for cutting hair. At an outer border first and second skin support surfaces are provided. The skin sides of tooth tips are provided below or on same level as at least one of said first and second skin support surface in a direction towards said handle or said skin sides of said tooth tips are configured such to not cross or extend beyond a connecting line parallel to said second axis between said first and second skin support surfaces.
Blade Hinge Assembly
An adjustable blade attachment is provided that captures an inner blade relative to the outer blade. A mounting bracket captures the inner blade and provides access to attach the blade assembly. A hinge or metallic stamping extends through the mounting bracket and is adjustable to change the force exerted on the mounting bracket. The adjustment to hinge on the mounting bracket changes the tensile force between the inner and outer blade of the blade assembly. In this way, the hinge provides an adjustable component that can increase or decrease the tensile force exerted between the inner and outer blade to adjustably separate the inner and outer blades and reduce friction during operation of the blade assembly.
Hair clipper with tapered radial handle
A haircutter handle has upper and lower housings. The upper housing and lower housing join to form a circumvoluted and/or spiraled exterior surface. The handle narrows and extends axially from a blade end to a handle or gripping end. The blade has an upper blade that oscillates over the lower blade to cut hair. The handle has a reduction taper that facilitates gripping and/or handling the handle. The taper also orients the motor and battery so that the center of gravity is positioned within the palm of the user's hand when gripping the handle. The blade end of the handle has a width and/or height that are greater than a width and/or height at the handle end. The reduction in height and/or width dimensions define a taper. In some embodiments, the width tapers more than the height tapers to facilitate gripping the handle about the center of gravity.
Universal trimmer blades adjuster
There are many trimmer models with 2 main parts, the static comb blade and the side moving cutter blade driven by electric motor/vibrator. These blades differ in many ways, shapes, sizes . . . which require fine adjustments and tenth of millimeter clearance at the end of the blades. Some models come with an adjuster that fits its model only with a fixed clearance that cannot be modified and does not fit other models. The proposed inventions are universal trimmer blades adjusters that fit most trimmer blades models and the clearance can be varied to meet the users' requirements. First invention design has one moving part with non-linear smooth adjustments and second invention design has two moving parts with linear fine adjustments.
Apparatus for releasably locking a stationary blade to a hair clipper
An apparatus is provided for releasably locking a stationary blade to a hair clipper, and includes a stationary blade with a blade opening, and a bracket configured for fixing the stationary blade to the hair clipper. Also, the bracket has a bracket opening. An actuator in the apparatus has a locking formation engageable in the openings and is operable between a first, locked position locking the stationary blade to the bracket, and a second, unlocked position releasing the stationary blade from the bracket.
HAIRCUTTER AND HAIRCUTTING BLADE
The haircutter according to the invention serves for trimming and styling hair and comprises a grip and a blade head connected with the grip. A working section is disposed at one longitudinal face of the blade head and recessed from an alignment line of the longitudinal face. A haircutting blade having at least one cutting edge is accommodated in the blade head and disposed so as to expose at least part of its cutting edge in the working section and to not protrude beyond the alignment line. The blade head comprises a guiding device having at least one placing surface for the hair to be trimmed so that the hair to be trimmed lies at a defined angle to the cutting edge as the placing surface is placed against the hair.
A CUTTING UNIT
The present invention relates to a cutting unit for a hair-cutting device. A cutting unit 14 is provided that comprises a tapered stationary guard blade 18 and a reciprocating cutter blade 16 in which the stationary guard blade is arranged to be moved perpendicular to the reciprocal motion of the cuter blade to allow the selection of different length settings. The guard blade may be biased to a minimal length setting. The stationary guard blade may be configured to be actuated by a user to allow a stepless change of the cutting length, when the stationary guard blade is pushed from its biased start position to the other end position.
