Surgical hair clippers and vacuum apparatuses including sensing and feedback devices
A surgical hair clipper includes a clipper body and a blade assembly connected to the clipper body. The blade assembly includes a moveable blade configured to reciprocate to remove hair from a skin area and a blade housing that houses the moveable blade. The blade housing has a guide surface that faces the skin area during a hair removal process. A touch sensor is exposed at the guide surface for contact with the skin area during use. A processor receives a signal from the touch sensor when the touch sensor contacts the skin area. The processor uses logic saved in a memory to instruct a feedback device to provide an indication of skin contact between the touch sensor and the skin area.
Electrically-driven device constructed to receive a plurality of attachments
An electrically-driven device includes a handle and a head, wherein the head includes a head base coupled to the handle and movable in at least two dimensions relative to the handle and a first head attachment and a second head attachment, wherein each one of the first and second head attachments are releasably engageable, one at a time, with the head base, each one of the first and second head attachments includes a skin treatment implement constructed to treat skin or a cutting unit constructed to cut hair, and the first head attachment is different from the second head attachment.
HAIR REMOVAL DEVICE
The invention relates to a hair removal device, comprising: a handle having a motor, a cutting head having a blade unit with a first and second blade for cutting hair, said cutting head having a first snap fit connector and a comb attachment releasably attachable to the cutting head, said comb attachment having a second snap fit connector provided to engage by snap fit connection with the first snap fit connector for attaching the comb attachment at the cutting head, wherein, said first snap fit connector is at least one of: formed in a shape to flex, made of a material to flex or supported to flex, so that said first snap fit connector is able to flex when brought into engagement with said second snap fit connector.
HAIR CUTTING KIT
A hair cutting kit comprises a handle, a first trimmer head configured for reversibly releasable attachment to the handle , a second trimmer head configured for reversibly releasable attachment to the handle, and a comb implement comprising at least one row of comb teeth and a mechanical interface operative for reversibly releasable attachment of the comb implement to the first trimmer head and for reversibly releasable attachment of the comb implement to the second trimmer head.
HAIR CUTTING KIT
A hair cutting kit comprises a cutting unit and a comb. The comb comprises a row of comb teeth. Some or all of the comb teeth comprise, on an outer face, a skin surface configured to glide on a user's skin, a feeding surface configured to feed hairs towards the cutting unit, and a transition surface between the skin surface and the feeding surface. The skin surface has a first surface contour line having a first radius of curvature, the feeding surface has a second surface contour line having a second radius of curvature, and the first radius of curvature is greater than the second radius of curvature.
Flip-comb mechanism for hair clipper
A flip comb mechanism is provided for a hair clipper having a bladeset including a moving blade reciprocating relative to a stationary blade, the flip comb mechanism includes an attachment comb having at least one comb tooth and a comb base. The flip comb mechanism also includes a mount with a hinged bracket, having a first portion which is attached to the stationary blade, and a second portion which is attached to the comb base, the hinged bracket is configured to pivot the attachment comb between an operational position located against to the stationary blade, and an open position where the attachment comb is rotated away from the stationary blade to clear collected cut hair between the attachment comb and the stationary blade, wherein a hinge of the hinged bracket is proximate the comb base.
ARTICULATING BLADE ASSEMBLY FOR HAIR REMOVAL DEVICE
The present disclosure provides an articulating blade assembly that can include a blade housing, a mount arranged to rotationally engage the blade housing, a biasing element configured to bias the blade housing to a neutral position while allowing for rotation, and a handle adapter. The articulating blade assembly is configurable with a body of a hair removal device. As such, the disclosure further provides a hair removal device incorporating the articulating blade assembly and also a method for manufacturing an articulating blade assembly.
Smart shaving accessory
The present disclosure provides a razor accessory with a camera to assist the user of a shaving razor, which razor accessory is configured to be mechanically attached to the shaving razor. The razor accessory may be provided with sensors to track the shaving movements of a user. The present disclosure also provides an application for a wearable computer device to track the shaving movements of a user. The razor accessory and/or the wearable computer is communicatively connected to a vendor platform via an Internet-of-Things (IoT) gateway, which may provide feedback to assist and optimize the user's shaving experience.
ELECTRIC GROOMING APPLIANCE INCLUDING MAGNETIC COUPLING SYSTEM
A handheld grooming appliance includes a housing defining a handle, a head, and an interior space. The handheld grooming appliance further includes a grooming device operatively connected to a motor and supported by the head of the housing. The handheld grooming appliance also includes a magnetic coupling system configured to releasably attach the grooming device to the housing. The magnetic coupling system includes at least one first magnet located on the grooming device and at least one second magnet located on the housing. The first magnet and the second magnet provide an attractive force to secure the grooming device to the housing during operation of the handheld grooming appliance. The magnetic coupling system is arranged to allow selective detachment of the grooming device from the housing when a user applies a force greater than the attractive force between the first and second magnets.
HAIR CLIPPER HAVING A MAGNETIC DOOR
A hair cutting device includes a cutting head having a moveable trimmer blade and a stationary trimmer blade, a collection chamber beneath the moveable trimmer blade and the stationary trimmer blade for collecting hairs cut by the moveable trimmer blade and the stationary trimmer blade, and a cover enclosing the collection chamber, the cover being removably connected to the cutting head via a magnetic interface.
