Devices and methods for mounting an article to a surface
In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a holder including a first surface, a second surface, a body portion in between the first surface and the second surface, and a protrusion. The first surface is configured to be coupled to a mounting surface. A magnet is disposed within the body such that a portion of the second surface is magnetically attractable to a first portion of an article. The protrusion is configured to engage a second portion of the article. The article being removably coupled to the holder when the first portion of the article is magnetically coupled against the portion of the second surface and the second portion of the article is engaged with the protrusion.

Shaver
A razor is provided, including a handle to be gripped by a user, a power generation unit disposed in the handle and configured to provide rotational power, a drive transmission unit coupled to the power generation unit and configured to be rotated by the rotational power, a cartridge including a blade housing on which one or more blades are seated, and a drive receiving unit formed at one side of the cartridge and configured to be in contact with the drive transmission unit to cause the blade housing to perform a linear movement in response to rotation of the drive transmission unit, wherein the cartridge is coupled to the handle such that the cartridge is pivotable about a pivot axis perpendicular to a rotational axis of the power generation unit, and wherein the pivot axis intersects the drive transmission unit.
Razor handle with a pivoting portion
A handle. The handle can include a main body and a pivoting head pivotally coupled with the main body about a pivot axis. The pivoting head can have a substantially trapezoidal prism shape and can include a base member and a cover member that overlies the base member in a mating relationship. The cover member can have a face defining at least one exterior opening and the pivoting head can have an interior compartment comprising an electrical component.
RAZOR COMPONENT INCLUDING A PRESSURE-RESPONSIVE PHASE-CHANGE COMPONENT
A razor component comprises a cooling element, which is adapted to provide a cooling effect on a user's skin during a shaving operation, wherein the razor component includes a pressure-responsive phase-change component that is coupled to the cooling element.
Personal consumer product with thermal control circuitry
A personal consumer product having an energy emitting element in selective electrical communication with a power source is provided. Thermal control circuitry is used to isolate the energy emitting element from the power source when a temperature of the energy emitting element exceeds a threshold. The thermal control circuitry includes a primary thermal control circuit and a redundant thermal control circuit. Methods for controlling the temperature of an energy emitting element of a personal consumer product are also provided.
Shaving Device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.
Shaving Aid For Razor Cartridges Comprising Filaments
A shaving aid for razor cartridges comprising water soluble filaments exhibiting lubricating properties and with improved visual and tactile aesthetics.
Printed Lubricious Material Disposed On Razor Blades
A razor blade having an improved lubricious material deposited thereon and a method of making a razor blade for a razor cartridge having such a material disposed thereon are described herein. A novel printing process and printing material are provided where at least one printing material is deposited on one or more razor blades via a printing process which includes one or more print heads for printing the at least one printing material and forming at least one printed object on a tip or one or more sides of the razor blade. The printing material may comprise about of about 0.25% solid to about 50% solids by weight of composition of telomer and further desirably comprises glycerol and/or an antifoam material. Optimizing coverage of the printing material may be achieved by changing materials, print heads, the firing frequency of the print head or angling or rotating the print heads.
Razor Blade With A Printed Object
A razor cartridge, a razor blade, and a process of producing a razor cartridge and razor blade is provided including at least one blade positioned between the guard and the cap where the visible surface of the at least one razor blade includes a printed object wherein the printed object has a height dimension of from about 0.04 mm to about 0.60 mm. The printed object may extend continuously along the length of the razor blade and/or may have multiple portions having a comb-like structure. The printed object appears as a solid object to a viewer's naked eye. The solid object includes a plurality of printed ink dots not visible to the viewer's naked eye. The printed object of flexible, polymer ink may act as a guard element on the razor blade which helps with glide and to manage a user's skin (e.g., bulge) during shaving.
