Razor handle and razor assembly using the same
A razor handle includes a handle body including a head adapter and a grip portion extending from the head adapter; a connecting head configured to be coupled to a razor cartridge and coupled to the head adapter head so as to be pivotable around a rotational axis, the connecting head including a head side cam surface on one side thereof; and a plunger disposed on one side of the handle body and including a plunger side cam surface configured to perform a cam action with the head side cam surface, the plunger being configured to provide, through the cam action, recovery force to restore the connecting head to a rest position, wherein a contact area between the head side cam surface and the plunger side cam surface is smaller when the connecting head is deviated from the rest position than when the connecting head is in the rest position.
PRECISION RAZOR WITH ANGLED WASH THROUGH CHANNEL
A shaving razor with an angled wash through channel. A razor blade is sandwiched between a base member and a blade cover. The based member is unitarily molded to include an integral blade guard that resides ahead of a cutting edge of the razor blade in a cutting direction, the base member also defines a wash through channel opening at an angle in the range of 30-70 degrees.
Shaving razor handle
A shaving razor handle includes, a main body, a pair of arms extending from the main body, and a pivoting head. The pivoting head includes a base member and a biasing member. The base member is pivotally coupled with the pair of arms to facilitate pivoting of the pivoting head about a pivot axis between a home position and a fully pivoted position. The base member includes a front wall and a rear wall. The front wall includes a front exterior surface. The rear wall includes a rear exterior surface. The biasing member is operably coupled with the main body and is configured to bias the pivoting head into the home position.
Shaving razor cartridge and method of manufacture
A shaving razor cartridge with a housing molded from a first polymeric material and having a top surface and an opposing bottom surface. The housing has a wall partially defining an opening extending from the top surface to the bottom surface. The wall has a pair of arms each with a distal end extending toward each other defining a gap. A guard is toward a front of the housing. A cap is toward a rear of the housing. At least one blade is mounted between the guard and the cap. A bridge interconnects the distal ends. The bridge is molded from a second polymeric material that is different than the first polymeric material.
Razor cartridges
Replaceable shaving assemblies are disclosed that include a razor cartridge comprising: an elongated housing defining a central open area, and, adjacent each short edge of the housing, a clip-receiving aperture and a clip-receiving channel; a plurality of blades disposed within the open area of the housing, and a pair of clips, each clip having a first leg and a second leg, the first leg extending through the clip-receiving aperture and being bent against a lower surface of the housing, and the second leg being wrapped around the housing and seated in the clip-receiving channel. Shaving systems including such shaving assemblies are also disclosed, as are methods of using such shaving systems and methods of manufacturing these cartridges.
Multi-blade shaving razor
A razor head for shaving is provided. The razor head includes a plurality of blades movably mounted within a support and a plurality of resilient members, wherein each blades of the plurality of blades is biased toward a shaving plane, at least in part, by at least one of the plurality of resilient members, and wherein at least one of the plurality of blades is biased toward the shaving plane with a first force that is greater than a second force biasing another of the plurality of blades toward the shaving plane.
Bottle for a personal care device
A personal care bottle with a distal end portion and a proximal end with a shoulder. A collapsible bag is positioned within the bottle. The collapsible bag configured to contain a liquid. A cap defining an opening having a frangible seal is cap mounted to the proximal end. The bottle has an outer surface defining a groove extending from the shoulder toward the distal end portion.
Shaving aid delivery systems for razors
A razor head, comprising a housing comprising one or more cutting elements, the housing further comprising a first window, and a second window; a substrate-based shaving aid delivery system, comprising a first reel that is rotatably mounted about a shaft, an actuator operationally coupled with the shaft, wherein at least part of the actuator protrudes externally from the housing via the first window; and a substrate carrying a shaving aid on its external surface.
Shaving razor cartridge
A method of assembling a razor cartridge. A housing is injection molded. An elastomer is co-injection molded to the housing forming a pair of laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers. A primary blade member having a cutting edge is mounted to the housing. The cutting edge of the primary blade member is contacted with the laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers. A blade retention member is mounted to a top surface of the housing. A pair of lateral ends of the cutting edge of the primary blade member is constrained between the blade retention member and the pair of laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers.
Shaving device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.
