The comb-like element is arranged parallel to the blade. The plurality of teeth extend parallel to each other form the shaft to beyond the cutting edge of the blade. Further, the comb-like element is disposed above the blade.

Additionally, the group of cutting members includes at least one backward facing blade, a backward facing blade being characterized by facing opposite to the first shaving direction of the razor cartridge. The at least one backward facing blade, is placed between the at least two forward facing blades, or the at least one backward facing blade, is the cutting member closest to the leading longitudinal side.

The plurality of spaced part ribs define a primary cap surface and a secondary guard surface. A first blade mounted to the housing between the primary guard and the primary cap surface. A second blade having a cutting edge extends in a same direction as the cutting edge of the first blade and is mounted to the housing between the secondary guard surface and the secondary cap. A primary cutting element is mounted on the housing between the front and rear longitudinal sides. The primary cutting element includes a cutting edge facing forwardly toward the front longitudinal side. A primary cover is located rearward of the primary cutting element a primary guard is located forward of the primary cutting element and, trimming is mounted on the housing. The trimming element includes a trimming edge. The trimming element of the shaving blade cartridge is located forward of the primary cutting element, and the trimming edge faces toward direction opposite the front longitudinal side.

A method of manufacturing a razor cartridge by molding a housing having a first mounting surface with a first notch extending into the housing to a first inner side wall. At least one blade is having a cutting edge is mounted to the housing. A first blade retention member is mounted over the cutting edge and on top of the first mounting surface. The first blade retention member is spaced apart from the first inner side wall by at least 0.25 mm.

At least one embodiment of the present disclosure provides a razor assembly including at least one shaving blade having a cutting edge, a blade housing, and an aid supplying member. The blade housing is configured to accommodate at least one shaving blade such that a width direction of the blade housing is in parallel with a longitudinal direction of the cutting edge and includes an inlet portion, a discharge portion, and a communication portion configured to communicate the inlet portion to the discharge portion. The aid supplying member is configured to deliver a shaving aid to the inlet portion. The shaving aid that is delivered from the aid supplying member is introduced into the inlet portion, passes through the communication portion, and is discharged from the discharge portion.

A skin-contacting surface of the convex lubricating pad is greater than a skin-contacting surface of the elongate lubricating strip, the convex lubricating pad and the elongate lubricating strip together extend along at least 60% of an outer perimeter of the blade unit, and the convex lubricating pad extends along at least 30% of the outer perimeter of the blade unit.
