A razor head comprises a frame. The frame comprises a leading longitudinal member and a trailing longitudinal member. The razor head further comprises a plurality of substantially parallel cutting members disposed between the leading longitudinal member and the trailing longitudinal member, and a cutting member support arranged in the frame, wherein the cutting member support is coupled to the plurality of cutting members. The cutting member support is configured to displace at least one cutting member of the plurality of cutting members from a default position to at least one predetermined deviating position based on an external stimulus.
Multi-blade shaving razor
A razor head for shaving is provided. The razor head includes a plurality of blades movably mounted within a support and a plurality of resilient members, wherein each blades of the plurality of blades is biased toward a shaving plane, at least in part, by at least one of the plurality of resilient members, and wherein at least one of the plurality of blades is biased toward the shaving plane with a first force that is greater than a second force biasing another of the plurality of blades toward the shaving plane.
CUTTING MEMBER FOR SHAVING RAZORS WITH MULTIPLE BLADES THAT FEATURE NARROW PLATFORM TO FACILITATE RINSING/ WELDED BLADE ON SUPPORT WITH NARROW PLATFORM PORTION
A shaving head comprising a guard, a first blade, and a second blade, the first blade comprising a first cutting element and a support, the first cutting element comprising a cutting edge portion and a mounting portion, the cutting edge portion presenting a cutting edge, the mounting portion extending from the cutting edge portion in an opposite direction from the cutting edge, the mounting portion being mounted on the support, the second blade comprising a second cutting element presenting a cutting edge, the first and second blades directly adjacent to one another such that an inter-blade clearance between the first and second blades ranges from 0.25 mm to 0.55 mm, and such that an inter-blade span between the cutting edges of the first and second cutting elements ranges from 0.90 mm to 1.60 mm.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A razor cartridge comprising a frame, wherein the frame comprises a leading longitudinal member and a trailing longitudinal member and at least one transverse frame member defining a cartridge plane, disposed in between, and joining, the leading longitudinal member and the trailing longitudinal member, in a transverse direction of the razor cartridge. The at least one transverse frame member comprises a plurality of cutting member guides defining a plurality of cutting member support slots, each cutting member support slot configured to accommodate a longitudinal cutting member, and a plurality of longitudinal cutting members, wherein each cutting member is disposed in a respective cutting member support slot.
Dual double-edge razor
The present invention relates to a razor including a handle, a frame coupled to the handle, a spacer, a top cap, a first blade secured between the frame and the spacer, and a second blade secured between the spacer and the top cap, wherein the first blade is supported by a portion of a top surface of the frame and a portion of a bottom surface of the spacer such that a first profile of the first blade is convexly curved upward, and wherein the second blade is supported by a portion of a top surface of the spacer and a portion of a bottom surface of the top cap such that a second profile of the second blade comprises a curved central region that is convexly curved upward and a pair of curved side regions that are concavely curved downward on opposite sides of the central region.
Razor blades
A razor blade having a substrate with a cutting edge being defined by a sharpened tip. The substrate has a thickness of greater than about 2.30 micrometers measured at a distance of four micrometers from the blade tip, a thickness of greater than about 4.26 micrometers measured at a distance of eight micrometers from the blade tip, and greater than about 7.93 micrometers measured at a distance of sixteen micrometers from the blade tip. A hard coating joined to the substrate has a thickness of 700 Angstroms to about 3500 Angstroms. An outer layer joined to a coated substrate is discontinuous. The outer layer may be produced from a dispersion comprising about 0.03 g/L or less of telomer or from about 0.5 % solids or less of telomer by weight of composition. The novel razor blade cuts at less than 100 % cutting efficiency using a single fiber cutting efficiency measure.
Shaving razor cartridge
A method of assembling a razor cartridge. A housing is injection molded. An elastomer is co-injection molded to the housing forming a pair of laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers. A primary blade member having a cutting edge is mounted to the housing. The cutting edge of the primary blade member is contacted with the laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers. A blade retention member is mounted to a top surface of the housing. A pair of lateral ends of the cutting edge of the primary blade member is constrained between the blade retention member and the pair of laterally spaced apart blade stabilizers.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A razor cartridge comprising: a housing extending longitudinally along a longitudinal axis, wherein the housing comprises a leading longitudinal side, a trailing longitudinal side, and a recess in between the leading and trailing longitudinal sides for accommodating a group of cutting members, and a group of cutting members comprising a plurality of cutting members disposed at least partially in the recess, wherein each cutting member is arranged between a leading longitudinal side and a trailing longitudinal side of the recess in a shaving direction of the razor cartridge. A first cutting member of the group of cutting members comprises a first blade support having a first blade mounting portion disposed on an inner surface of the first blade support that, in use, faces away from a shaving plane, and a first blade attached to the first blade mounting portion.
BLADE ELEMENTS
A blade element for a razor cartridge includes a blade support, a blade and a comb-like element. The blade support includes a base portion and a bent upper portion. The blade is arranged at the upper portion of the blade support and includes a cutting edge. The comb-like element includes a shaft and a plurality of teeth. The comb-like element is arranged parallel to the blade. The plurality of teeth extend parallel to each other form the shaft to beyond the cutting edge of the blade. Further, the comb-like element is disposed above the blade.
