Razor handle with movable members
A handle for a shaving razor in which the handle comprises a frame and a movable member assembly operably coupled to the frame such that the frame is disposed between the movable member assembly and where the movable member assembly upper and lower portions are configured to move both above and below the frame. The movement can be linear or rotational. The movable member assembly comprises one or more springs.
Razor With Adjustable Blades
A razor for grooming purposes that differs from other razors by having adjustable blades, which allow for shaving in an up direction where a non-adjustable razor would have to be physically positioned to shave in an up direction or any other direction. Additionally, the adjustable blades allow for faster cleaning as opposed to current razors.
Razor handle with movable members and a benefit delivery system
A handle for a shaving razor in which the handle comprises a frame and a movable member assembly operably coupled to the frame such that the frame is disposed between the movable member assembly and where the movable member assembly portions are configured to move both above and below the frame. The movement can be linear or rotational. The movable member assembly comprises one or more springs. A razor handle includes a rigid member, a first member having one or more movable elements wherein a portion of the first member is connected to a first surface of the rigid member, a second member, the second member coupled to a second surface of the rigid member wherein a benefit delivery assembly is disposed in an area between the rigid member and the second member.
Adjustable shaving blade assembly and razor
A shaving blade assembly (10) comprises a plurality of parallel blades (20) including a first blade (20) and a first rack-and-pinion mechanism (50) with a rack (51) coupled to the first blade (20) to actuate the first blade (20) in a first direction (M) orthogonal to a cutting edge (21) of the first blade (20). The shaving blade assembly (10) may be part of a razor (100,100′) and the position of the first blade (20) may be adjusted in the first direction (M) using a method comprising a step of actuating the first blade (20) in the first direction (M) through the rack-and-pinion mechanism (50).
Adjustable head razor
A safety razor is provided having a blade head capable of having an adjustable angle relative to a grasping handle and an adjustability of tension of a pivot to the blade. The blade head is connected by an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the blade head that is substantially enclosed within a conduit formed within the grasping handle. The blade head is angularly adjustable between an angle >95° from a linear centerline of the handle to about 22° from the linear centerline of the handle. A blade head adapter may be further provided to allow for attachment and use of alternate existing blade head cartridges.
Shaving aid delivery systems for razors
A razor head, comprising a housing comprising one or more cutting elements, the housing further comprising a first window, and a second window; a substrate-based shaving aid delivery system, comprising a first reel that is rotatably mounted about a shaft, an actuator operationally coupled with the shaft, wherein at least part of the actuator protrudes externally from the housing via the first window; and a substrate carrying a shaving aid on its external surface.
HANDLE WITH AN EJECTOR FOR A WET RAZOR
The invention relates to a handle for a wet razor including a handle section as well as a coupling section for detachably attaching a cutting unit to the handle. The coupling section comprises a housing section including a housing cavity, which has an insertion opening at the end directed toward the cutting unit and an operating opening. The coupling section furthermore comprises a connector including fastening elements, which engage in the housing section, and including a peg, which protrudes beyond the plane of the insertion opening. The coupling section furthermore comprises an ejector, which is inserted into the housing cavity so as to be axially displaceable, including a spring element, which axially urges the ejector into the housing cavity, and a ram, which during axial displacement of the ejector in the direction toward the cutting unit extends beyond the plane of the insertion opening. Finally, the coupling section comprises an operating button, which passes through the operating opening and acts on the ejector so as to enable the axial displacement thereof.
Shaving device
A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.
RAZOR
A razor apparatus including a head having at least one blade member on each of a first and a second opposed side of the head. Each blade member has a straight front cutting edge. The head includes a frame defining an opening through which the cutting edges are accessible. The frame also includes a rotatable mounting element for attachment of the head to a handle. The head is rotatable around a longitudinal axis of the handle at least 180° when the rotatable mounting element is activated.
