Skin treatment personal care device and method of manufacture
A skin treatment personal care with a handle having a gripping portion at one end and a head portion at an opposing end. The head portion includes a heat dissipating housing having a top surface and defines a pocket. The heat dissipating housing is made of a material having a thermal diffusivity greater than 10 W/m K. A light emitting diode adapted to provide one or more skin benefits is positioned within in the pocket. A window forms a water tight seal covering the LED.

An ultraviolet (UV) shaving system can include a fluorescent shaving cream that fluoresces. The fluorescent shaving cream can include at least one fluorescent substance. The fluorescent substance can be configured to bond to hair to cause the hair to glow with fluorescence when exposed to UV light. Additionally, the system can include at least one UV light. In some aspects, the system can include a shaving device that emits the UV light. In some aspects, the shaving device can be a razor, which includes a razor blade and a handle. The handle can include the UV light mounted thereto. The UV light can be located on the handle and oriented to be directed toward the shaving area of the subject being shaved. In some aspects, the UV shaving system includes a UV lighted razor including one or more UV light emitters.

An ultraviolet (UV) shaving system can include a fluorescent shaving cream that fluoresces. The fluorescent shaving cream can include at least one fluorescent substance. The fluorescent substance can be configured to bond to hair to cause the hair to glow with fluorescence when exposed to UV light. Additionally, the system can include at least one UV light. In some aspects, the system can include a shaving device that emits the UV light. In some aspects, the shaving device can be a razor, which includes a razor blade and a handle. The handle can include the UV light mounted thereto. The UV light can be located on the handle and oriented to be directed toward the shaving area of the subject being shaved. In some aspects, the UV shaving system includes a UV lighted razor including one or more UV light emitters.

The present disclosure also provides an application for a wearable computer device to track the shaving movements of a user. The razor accessory and/or the wearable computer is communicatively connected to a vendor platform via an Internet-of-Things (IoT) gateway, which may provide feedback to assist and optimize the user's shaving experience.
