ANIMATED SCISSOR HOLDER
An animated scissor holder having a housing with an opening and a guide to linearly receive and guide blades tips of a pair of scissors. A stop is adapted to impeded linear movement of the blade tips sliding through the guide at a predetermined distance. An object is movably connected to the housing and a gear assembly adapted to move the object in response to the linear movement of the blade tips. The gear assembly has a drive gear adapted to transfer the linear movement into rotational movement about a first axis. A set of driven teeth are attached to the object. The drive gear translates motion to the driven teeth to move the object from a first position to a second position.

RING REMOVAL APPARATUS
A ring removal apparatus configured to remove a ring from a finger utilizing a first technique or a second technique. The first technique employs cutting the ring while the second technique utilizes elements to distort the shape of the ring achieve removal. The ring removal apparatus includes a cutting assembly wherein the cutting assembly has a void centrally located therein and an opening thereto. The void has a first blade member and a second blade member on opposing sides thereof. The first blade member includes a ring protrusion member operably secured thereto and in axial alignment with the first blade member. The second blade member is movable in a forwards-backwards motion and is moved via a hydraulic assembly. The hydraulic assembly includes a conventional hydraulic cylinder that is operated via an operational lever so as to provide the movement of the second blade member.
Knife and scissors provided with protection means
A knife and scissors having a protection means are disclosed. The knife, which has a handle, a body extended in one direction in engagement with the handle, and a body blade formed at the bottom of the body, for performing a cutting action, includes a protrusion spaced upward from a distal end of the body, an insertion portion formed in a space between the body and the protrusion, and an upper blade formed at the bottom of the insertion portion. The upper blade cuts an object inserted in the insertion portion and the protrusion protects a human body or the object by contacting the body or the object earlier than the distal end of the body, when the body slips off the object.

MOTORISED CUTTING TOOL WITH GUARD
A portable motorised cutting tool has a motor housed in a tool body, a cutting member, a transmission linking the motor to the cutting member, and at least one guard for protecting the hand of the user, providing a passage for the hand around at least one of a control member of the tool, and a gripping handle of the tool. The tool has a cover capable of occupying a so-called “closed” position against the body of the tool, and a so-called “open” position separated from the body of the tool and giving access to a part of the tool protected by the cover in the closed position, the cover being linked to the body of the tool by the guard.

Hair Cutting Device Adapted for Cutting One's Own Hair
A hair cutting device adapted for cutting one's own hair comprises a comb piece having teeth with smooth comb edges near open ends and sharp cutting edges near closed ends, a moving cutting arm with sharp cutting teeth in contact and rough alignment with the sharp cutting edges of the comb piece, capable of reciprocating sideways back and forth and cutting hair in conjunction with the sharp cutting edges of the comb piece, and a hair guard in close proximity along their lengths. The hair guard can be lowered to expose the sharp cutting edges of the comb piece and moving cutting arm to cut hair or raised above the sharp cutting edges to work as a comb.
Effort-saving cutter
A cutter includes a platform, two handles, a blade, a lever, two pawls, a helical spring and a torque spring. The platform is connected to the first handle. The lever includes a ratchet formed at a rear end and a block formed on a side. The blade includes a rear end formed with a slit for receiving the block. The first pawl is pivotally connected to the second handle. The torque spring includes an end in contact with the first pawl and another end in contact with the second handle for keeping a tip of the first pawl engaged with the ratchet of the lever. The second pawl and the handles are pivotally connected to one another. A helical spring includes an end connected to the second pawl and another end connected to the lever. The tips of the pawls are alternately engaged with the ratchet.
ELECTRIC SCISSORS
Electric scissors includes: at least one movable blade having a blade portion configured to cut a to-be-cut object; a drive unit configured to open and close the at least one movable blade; a holding part configured to hold the to-be-cut object that is cut by the at least one movable blade; and a support part configured to support the to-be-cut object, which is cut by the at least one movable blade, while regulating a direction of the to-be-cut object.
